¡Hola! I don't remember doing anything specific to make the whammy bar / bridge lay flat, but I may have adjusted the springs. I think the manual covers this. But you just need to have enough tension in the back to keep the bridge in line with the body of the guitar. You need to take the back plate off to access those springs.

@JeffMillerOnline I'm looking hard at that one. Been using an Akai Headrish since 2007, and it's by far my best creative tool. I'd like to grab something that allows for several loops, with lots of creative versatility.
@JeffMillerOnline5 ай бұрын
@@LPMojoGL It's a good pedal. It can hold up to 4 independent loops. My main gripe with it is that in "free mode" (the mode where loops can start whenever you want them to, and aren't necessarily in sync with each other), you have to do an extra button tap for nearly every operation, no matter how many loops have been recorded. For example, if you have just begun looping, and only have one loop recorded, and you want to start overdubbing, you have to hit the "stack" (Boomerang's terminology for overdub) button and THEN choose the loop you want to stack on. The same goes for operations like reverse or once or undo. I feel like there's got to be a better way, but maybe it's a limitation of the memory / software / file structure in the pedal. If you have any specific questions, I can try to answer them for you.

Hey, Rafael! It's a great all-in-one looper for recording multiple loops and having them play at the same time / bringing one in and out over the top of another. If you want to be able to do more experimental things, like fade out one loop while another is playing, this unit can't do that. If you have some non-traditional uses that you'd be wanting to do, you could let me know, and I can tell you if it will do that specific thing. I find it does about 90-95% of what I'd like to be able to do.

@JeffMillerOnline Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Sorry you didn't find the info you were seeking within the video itself. I have two bits of good news for you, though: 1) You can't short out a pedal by plugging the guitar into the output side, and the amp into the input side. 2) You can safely assume that a pedal's input is on the right, and the output is on the left. I have yet to encounter a pedal for which this wasn't the case. I'm sure there's some oddball maker out there just trying to be different for being different's sake, but this is a universal characteristic for guitar pedals. Happy looping!

why does my guitar cut out once i push record
@JeffMillerOnline Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! This is almost always an issue with the power supply. The power supply needs to be 9 volts, at least 100 mA, and center negative. This has been the issue with nearly every person who has commented about it here. There was one exception: a user told me that he did a "system reset" by holding down the pedal button for about thirteen seconds, and this fixed his issue. He didn't say whether the pedal needed to be plugged in or not, but I assume it would need to be powered on if it is actually going through a reset. But if your power supply doesn't meet the started ratings, then the reset won't help you, of course. Good luck!

Just ordered one and it seems nice. One thing I noticed that the bag with the manual and stuff is closed with some kind of tape and the A is handwritten, unlike in yours. The bag is also kind of in rough shape with some holes. It's probably nothing but the thought came to me that did the shop sell a returned guitar as new or something.. Also could you tell me if your tone knob had any looseness in it, like when I turn it there is half cm free before it actually starts to change the tone? Thanks and take care!
@JeffMillerOnline Жыл бұрын
Thanks for checking out the video. That is a little strange about the bag with the manual in it, but who knows... As to the tone knob: yes; they all apparently have a loose feel and a tiny bit of give before it actually catches. This is likely do to the fact that it's also the control for the humbucker / single coil switch. My main issue with this guitar is that the pots for the volume and tone aren't of the highest quality. I don't really want to spend the time doing it, but I might switch out the volume pot before too long. The tone knob doesn't bother me that much, but the volume knob was scratchy out of the box.

Our of curiosity does your tremolo bar have any threading on it?
@JeffMillerOnline2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! No; the tremolo bar is not threaded. However, there is a system for tightening the bar: Insert your bar all the way and press it down to create space between the body and the bridge. You can wedge something in there to keep that space open, if you'd like to. On the side of the bridge where the bar is, you will see a little set screw that can be tightened with an allen wrench. This set screw determines how tightly the whammy bar will stay in place. I had to tighten that screw pretty far to get my bar to stay in place the way that I like it. There is a bit of resistance, but it slides in place and stays there.

Hey there - thanks for watching! Personally, I would not consider changing it into a dual-P90 guitar, because I really like all of the different sounds that you can get out of it in its native configuration. I do love the P90 in the neck slot, though. If you have some monetary flexibility, I would get a guitar that already has two P90s in it. I think Epiphone makes some affordable options. Again, that's just my opinion. It all depends on what your use and preferences would be, and whether or not you like that TB-14 in the bridge position.

Yo! I just bought this pedal and it works great with a clean sound but when trying a distorted sound the loops drowned each other out. Are they only made for clean ideas or do I need a more expensive model? Thanks for any information ✌️
@JeffMillerOnline2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, Mark! The good news is that you do not need to get any fancier looping pedal. At its most basic level, a looping pedal just records exactly what you send to it, and spits it back out. The bad news is that distorted guitar signals will get muddy more quickly. You can experiment with where you put your distortion, if you are using a pedal. I typically put the looping pedal last in the signal chain, so that the pedals don't affect anything except for my live guitar sound. If you are using amp distortion, then you don't have a choice - everything will be affected by the distortion. If you check out some of my more distorted electric pieces, you can probably hear that I keep the parts simple and distinct. Here's an example - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kJOig7BizZnReYU.html

@JeffMillerOnline2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, Avalyn. It sounds like your power supply doesn't have the right power ratings. I don't know the brand of mine - it's a 30-year-old adapter from an old phone answering machine. But as long as yours is matches what I mention in the video (center negative, 9 volts, and at least 100 mA), it should be good! Several people have contacted me about similar issues, and they have always been resolved by changing the power supply. Good luck!

@JeffMillerOnline2 жыл бұрын
Hey - thanks for watching! Your issue sounds like other ones that people have mentioned to me. If you scroll through the comments, you can find them. @JeffMillerOnline2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for checking it out, Peter! Your message got cut off, but it seems like you were asking about the undo/redo function. If the loop is in playback mode, you can erase all of the most recent overdub session by holding the button down for about 3 seconds. Note that I wrote "overdub session", and not "all overdubs". If you press the button to start recording, and then press it again to complete recording, that is one session. If you then start recording more overdubs, that is a separate session. When you hold down the button to perform the undo function, only the most recent session will be deleted.

You are correct! I give lessons and teach clinics for looping, and always suggest that new loopers should not get single-button looping pedals. There's just too much to keep track of, and it is not intuitive. My main looping pedal (the Boomerang +) has five buttons and a roller wheel.

Need to know how you can transfer song files and can you import them too as there is a usb Also can you do more thann one song and have this stored in the pedal ????
@JeffMillerOnline2 жыл бұрын
Good questions, Robert. Unfortunately, the answer is basically no to both thoughts. The USB port is only for firmware updates, from what I've figured out. You could record your loop, and then connect the output to a computer (like a DAW that has an audio interface with a quarter-inch input), and save an audio file that way. The Ditto only stores one loop session (original loop and any overdubs) at a time. This original Ditto was designed to be very simple. Thanks for watching!
