I'd like to know what time they ran? It looked good in places, awesome power and acceleration, but very untidy and over slow in others. I can't recall ever seeing anyone dropping back to in the 50's and 60 mph in any corner in the blitz. Anyway, it's all good, it's something you never stop wanting to do, it's the aches and pains later on that pull you up. Go hard boys!

Years ago in the 70's... our V8 Jet Drive wasn't fast enough... only 60 mph. So I decided to get pulled by friend's supercharged big block V drive. It was good for 100 plus. We hit 100 and my ski was barely touching the water, the drops of water kicked up by prop hit like bullets. Then 'friend' decided to turn hard... my 100 mph on 100 foot ski rope instantly rocketed to 150... I fell and it wasn't pretty.

Not my type of boat . Rocking around all over the Place . A Beismeyer Flat Bottom my 1st choice or a Eliminator Tunnel Hull. The Eliminator may not get a Guernsey due 2 regulations ?? .

Most of you people have not got a clue as to the guts and adrenalin rush this sport gives. It is like F1 but your balls are on the line, there is no safety to protect you. As I found out with my life , for several minutes, and a long time to recover! But would not change a thing to the sport.

I think the copilot wasn't needed just got in the road, old mate driving knew exactly what a good skier could handle without him, if you can't handle my driving you aren't good enough sort of thing

Copilot is an intelligent camera to the rear - if one of those skiers had gone down, there could have been significant safety issues for the other skier (and I'd think as well as course SAR needing to be called out - a wipeout at 160 kmh on water would hurt and can break limbs).
