Please ensure when you stretch the spring you stretch it in the centre where it looks compressed. If you stretch at the bottom the spring will push against the case when it is put back together if this occurs just use side cutters to clip of a couple of coils on the bottom😊

You, sir, are a genius! I've been fighting TWO of these BE365 locks for two years. I've repositioned the spring at least 3 times in each one, only to have to go back in 6-8 months later and reposition it again. But your "S T R E T C H the spring" trick is the real deal!! I immediately hear a much more solid engagement of the assembly when it's triggered now! Thank you, THANK YOU!!

This is a great improvement on the tool.! Might it be easier to split the hinges and install both halves, then roll the door in and install the hinge pins?

Hey Jeff, thanks for the video. I'm the french guys who find this hack :). I agree with you about Allegion noticing sales reps ! when you get the zip tie out, just pivot it side to side and pulling it gently, this way, the zip tie will not let pieces in the lock. Keep posting videos !

Oh my God that is genius! I'm going out right now and buying a piece of clear PVC and a bearing, thank you so much that is super helpful! Holy hell I can't believe it was that easy! I have been trying to hold them together by pinching them and turning them back and forth and they like to get caught in there and jam up! I work for Pop-A-Lock here in Jacksonville Florida and I will spread the word! You now have a new subscriber!

My approach to this : Method one, use lishi sc4 pick to pick it and poke the hole to take it off from the door, the lishi act like a tension wrench. Method two, if no lishi sc4, normal way to pick it and use a sc1 key blank cut to 99999 to insert after pick and use as a tension wrench.

Awesome, great content and innovation here; I love hearing about your experimentation and thought processes! I’m definitely going to have to check out all your other videos, especially #12 so I can see why you keep 6 SmartKey cores like you showed at 9:45 (I know it’s for the 6 depths, maybe it’s to double check your image depth guesses?). Re the Kwikset Lishi cutter from Red Team Tools you mentioned at 12:39, I’ve heard it’s “under development” so they have every intention of eventually coming out with one… but they also don’t have a specific timeline for that. In the meantime there’s an acceptable substitute if you look up ProxLock here on KZfaq or eBay. It’s an inferior design because the clipper rubs against the guide but it’s an acceptable flaw at least until Deviant/RTT come out with Kwikset guides. Thanks again for making great videos! 😊🙏

great video, thanks for sharing. I am a newer locksmith and have never rekeyed honda high security yet, but I have cut plenty of keys. However, what wafer goes into what chamber? I see you have the wafers, but how do you read the wafer positions on these? Where does track A and B go?

Great video. Which is the safest type of keypad lock that cannot be picked and which is recommended for absentee owners who do not have a key keeper in the area to see when the battery is running low? How would you compare the Schalage BE 365 vs the wifi lock BE489WB as far as safety, reliability (not malfunctioning)?

Mortise lock case. I consult the part list when in doubt, slang in technical communication is unacceptable. How would you regard doctors in Dallas naming medical stuff one way and doctors in NY naming the same stuff another way....

If you don't get the roll pin out the last method is to get the shear off bolts out and the punch always works and yes the roll pin fell out on the Honda we where working on this has actually happened a couple of times since for me. You should check out my new Lishi Accessory Video 20
