I recently bought my first IOM, it is a V7 and we sail in mostly A rig conditions here in Switzerland. Are the setting shown at 10:30 a value that I could use for the V7. In flat reasonably water and light to medium conditions, it still seems to hold its own very well. V 10 or its successor are on the list of "I want" toys. Thanks Daniel

Interesting useful information- Thanks Ian. I ease my main boom out at well less than 30 degrees of heel Phil. Seems to work well and accelerates the boat which in turn makes the fin keel work better to minimise the angle of leeway particularly in chop.
