So I used the mix recipes for each part. Used the paint mix video recipes, techniques. Base wouldn't spread or pour off. Had to add more floetrol, then water, then it wouldn't spread evenly. Puddle paints were both too thick and too thin, made a sloppy typical pour mess of peaks and mess, nothing cloudy about it at all - ruined the paint - had to throw all the mix cup paint out. the "cloud" mix did nothing, and again, I followed it to the letter. There is something else going on here, that isn't described or something. Got NO CELLS - and I've never used Floetrol before where I did not get cells. I've been painting for a few years and have never had this kind of trouble with a recipe. It's depressing and demoralizing to see that wasted canvas and paint and expensive ingredients. I kept trying with the bit of remaining mixed paint, base, cloud - nothing good happening there. Don't know what's going on.

This is just so so Beautiful Sara. I have said before you have a true gift from God. There is no one That I have seen that brings so much depth, with intricate details, that you simply touch with your pallet knife and magic happens.❤. Your friend will be in tears, or was in tears, seeings I'm slow at finding your channel. Thank you again. My Dad always said " Beauty is in the Eye of the beholder.". This is Astonishing.

Amazing duo!! ❤❤ I spent a good bit of my morning mixing your recipes yesterday! I was making one batch of translucent base but accidentally added 4 oz GAC 800 instead of 1 oz because I was talking to my dog! I have a LOT of translucent base now! 🤣😂

This textured Bloom swipe, is incredible Sara. I have never seen such an amazing piece of fluid art, using your secret added ingredients. Tnhis is so Beautiful. Will you ever disclose the secret? I found it in the transcript after I wrote this. Mineral spirits w/ non acrylic paint. This is truly a amazing painting. Your talents are endless. Thank you for sharing this painting.

Beautiful. I'm still hoping for a video on how you mix your dark bases, as well as dark cloud-over colors. And I haven't found your explanation of what cloud-over does to the painting. I watch so closely, and you're speeding thru that process. Please point out a video you've made for these things. I would really appreciate it. Thank you!❤

I can understand the confusion. Really the white pearl base coat is the same as the colored pearl basecoat except for you replace the white paint with a different color. The key is to use the un tinted satin enamel in order to avoid white pigment in the mixture. The dark cloud over colors is the same concept, I really just use the dark base coats for a cloud over effect. You can also use Decoart 24K gold, gold, high flow details as well.

You’ve done it again! I’m so glad that I found your channel here on KZfaq. You continue to inspire and help me get my head out of the old school realistic approach to art. Every time I painted something, it would have to look exactly like what it was supposed to be. This painting is beautiful and has a sensuality about it. The colors are different and that special blue swath of color evokes such a softness around the individual grouping of colors.. The yellow undergrowth of color that cluster around the spaces next to the lacy web spaces gives a feeling of firmness and structure almost like a dry desert cassia type bush. Your painting is eclectic and gives a soothing comfortable feeling of calm. I think it's lovely. Adore that shade of blue, like a corn flower blue which is so vibrant and glowing. It's like the painting revolves around the majesty of this blue and it's vibration. Love how the painting is minimal and at the same time so full of life. Looking forward to seeing your Comissioned Art piece Sara. Thanks you so much for sharing. Love the little paint pallete swatches the rendering design. Do you give that to the buyer?
