"I bought standard roast coffee beans. I opened the package 7 days after roasting, allowing the degassing process to last one week. The coffee name is Ethiopia Guji Gr1. I use Hario white paper filters and spring water. I brewed at 95 degrees Celsius. I grind with a Comandante hand grinder at 22 clicks. I used a 1:16 ratio, using 2000 ml of water and 12.5 grams of coffee. However, my coffee turned out quite sour. How do you interpret this situation? What do you recommend?"

would be nice to actually show it instead of plugging your mid grinder

It's a pity we couldn't see into the container properly, just to see at what stage of the coffee dripping Matt then starts the next pour. EDIT: He explains it in the advanced video. He starts pouring once the stream stops and it starts dripping.

Hi Matt thank you for this very helpful video . Could you please suggest which grind setting for your method on a commandande grinder? Thank you

It's beautiful, but it doesn't seem to help maintain the water temperature because it's an open form

Why make the ribs removable? What value does that provide? Also, what value does this model provide over your other models? Is the difference only aesthetic? Much more info is needed in your videos.

Removable is great if you want to pack it for travel. Boxing it up is less bulk vs regular drippers.

We've come a long way from this "slim" grinder but the Hario will always be a classic 👌
