I would die to hear Glass House in full...... but we can only hope

My cousin worked at a facility in LA back then (circa 1987/88) that made high quality 1-to-1 cassette dubs of new album masters and he sent me this one. The record companies etc. would use these for promotion - to send out review copies and such. My copy has no album title (It just says "Stabilizers") so thank you for that! Also, my copy has a song that I think was on a film soundtrack "Maybe This Time". I love this album and have always been disappointed that it was never released.

@@TheAudPro Mark, I would love to hear those tracks in full, any possible chance of uploading those? I’ve been a long time fan of The Stabilizers and this album is one I’ve wanted to hear in forever. Thx!

I understand and I would if I could but I don’t want to be sued by Sony Music or MCA Records. That’s why there are only snippets here.

@@TheAudPro Totally understood. I do hope one day the album is readily available, I’m surprised it hasn’t yet but it was a good sign when Tyranny showed up on Spotify.

I loved this band. Although there is a quite a bit of demand online to hear it, please don't share the album and I'd recommending taking this down. CBS really missed out on this band. Every song they put out was great. Rich is very talented and so underestimated. I had the pleasure to connect with Dave not long before he passed away. What a neat guy. Despite what he was going through, he was a positive and nice person. He hadn't ruled out something from the band but life had other plans. RIP Dave.

I practice Karate. I have to say this is likely the best Korean form I've seen. I've never understood why with Korean Martial Arts being so fast and aesthetic, forms always look so lazy, soft and quite frankly weird. This is didn't feel lazy. It still looks soft, but it is by far the best form performance I've seen.

I can appreciate the freedom of art display. This guy in the red actually has good torso defense in the real world.. But the real world was starting sidekick to shin.. or side snap hook kick.. And follow up with more push kick or knee. And these kicks are not really opening kicks.. But I can appreciate the practitioners getting their freedom of therapy. And they are not under-skilled but is far from real time. And more display than good chronology of subduing.

Do you still have this TV? Can you make a demo video of the Content Library feature on this TV that can be accessed with the "Content" button on the remote. I used to own a similar TV and loved the Gallery images, Cooking recipes, games, and especially the music that played with them that came pre-installed with the TV. If you could make a demo video of the Content Library, I would appreciate it.

This is the weirdest looking sparring match I have ever seen in my life. Were they fake sparring and pretending to even try to hit each other and choreographed? It does not look natural at all. No real defense just moving around and the attacks are so telegraphed.
@luckyarchard5 жыл бұрын
This is what is called Moo Doo Sparing. Rather then an accumulation of points for hits that potentially could have no power or no true technique, this type of sparring is judge by rounds. At the end each round the point is awarded to the practioner who is using techniques with the most control and highest level of skill. This type of sparring reflect the Moo Doo Kwan value of shared harmony based on the Uhm Yung ( or the more commonly known Yin Yang). There is a separate event that is the more traditional sparring that most people are use to seeing with points and contact. I hope that answers your question.
