Changing the G string to LOW G brings a completely different musical experience. Perfect! I like both tunings, depending on what song is being played. I like when I can also read the history of music about the author and the composition. Nice video, thank you!😉Eva🌠🌟🌌

The wonderful sound of a six-string ukulele - lute. The Sick Tune is a beautiful Renaissance piece. I am learning to play this piece from Mr. Lambert's Renaissance e-Book. The e-book is perfectly written, excellently readable, a perfect historical renaissance composition. 🎵🎶I really enjoy learning to play the ukulele from Mr. Lambert's renaissance e-book. This is a Ukulele? It reminds me of the Mandola, a 4 course (8 string) tuned a 5th? below a Mandolin. Sounds great.

Hello Wilfried, thank you very much! Yes - I'm slowly getting used to the instrument. I've tuned the ukulele down a tone now, as the high A doesn't keep tune very well and I like the deeper sound.

Robinsons May is an amazing piece of music. Perfect sound, 6 strings can be heard and it is a great music experience. Thank you very much. Mr. Lambert writes excellent sheet music, Robinsons May is in the e-Book Renaissance. I will definitely make time for at least one song today and it will be this one according to Mr. Lambert's notes, which I can recommend to everyone. 🌅Eva

The composition is very beautiful and nicely played. Every new instrument needs time to "settle" in tuning, strings. I can see it on my ukuleles. In the beginning I had to tune often, now it holds the strings in tune nicely, I rarely have to tune a little. I really liked the video. Thank you.😉Eva🌌

@@wwelti Danke Wilfried ... Ja, gut gehört 😃 Die Ukelele war heute nicht optimal gestimmt ... Hab's partout nicht ganz sauber hinbekommen ... Kann auch sein, dass ich noch einen Bund verschieben muss. Habe das Instrument ja gerade erst neu. Welches Material würdest du für die Bundierung verwenden?

@@music-for-ukulele Die Bünde vielleicht am Besten mal mit einem Stimmgerät überprüfen? Ansonsten bin ich mir nicht sicher ob es wirklich daran liegt. Die Stimmwirbel selbst sind ja auch schon eine gewisse Herausforderung. 😉 Für die Bünde werden normalerweise Saiten verwendet, je nach Erfordernis kann man auch Saiten mit verschiedenen Dicken verwenden, um Schnarren zu vermeiden oder abzustellen. Mit der Bundierung zu arbeiten, muß ich auch erst noch ein bisschen üben.

@@wwelti Ja - mit einem Stimmgerät wollte ich die Bünde mal überprüfen. Und ja - ich habe den richtigen Dreh noch nicht raus - beim "festziehen" des Stimmwirbels verstimme ich die Saite leicht wieder. Ich würde mir gerne auch Aquila Nylguts aufziehen, scheue das aber doch etwas, weil es ja dann erst einmal noch schwieriger mit dem Stimmen wird.

Very nicely played! 😀 I have the same model lute kulele and the strings are quite bad so about to upgrade to a set of Aquila nylgut low D, hopefully that will give it a bit more authentic tone.

Das saubere, akkurate Spiel kenne ich ja bereits von deinen tollen performances auf der Ukulele. Hier bei diesen long distance slides mit definiertem Zielton auf der "classical slide guitar" 😊 ist diese Präzision unabdingbar! Klasse, gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut!

@@KingWilly31 Hallo nochmal, die Aufnahme wird in der Nachbearbeitung mit einem leichten Hall versehen, falls du das meinst. Das ist Geschmackssache aber auch üblich bei solcher Musik. Vergleiche Aufnahmen von zum Beispiel Samantha Muir. Die Stimmung ist Gcea ... Grüße
