I think it should be mentioned that directly across from this google Street View image is a large plaza with multiple businesses in it, and just down the road there is another large buisness area with a liquor store. This area is barely even residential and people with small children would not live there on a main road with that much traffic already. The business would already have a parking lot as can be seen. I am excited to hear the towns views on this because i think once more, the town board is going to be surprised with how out of line with their constituents their stated opinions are. And to answer the question posed at around 1:02:10 , popup liquor stores arent nessicary when they can just open freely without extra litigation. and it is worth remembering the buisness would not be a popup after it receives the proper licensing. I think this is a fantastic use for a building that is not properly suited for its original residential use. And as for the " possibility to limit the opportunities of other buisnesses that would meet the zoning requirements and would like to open there" would you want to open a daycare next to a large shopping plaza and a busy road? I think there are plenty of other places those buisnesses could open and unless youve got a few in line waiting i dont think this should be of much concern.

The village of Fayetteville has a very unique and valuable kayaking opportunity with limestone creek and the limestone feeder canal, if the feeder canal was deep enough. you could park at the canal landing park and kayak down limestone creek, portage to the old Erie Canal and then take the old Erie Canal to limestone feeder canal and back to your car at canal landing park
