A real, ghost story. Not bad, and very watchable. Always liked Ealing Studios, even when I was younger, before learning who, they were🤔.

Perfect blend of comedy, mystery, and suspense! The writing and acting were consistently brilliant in all three of the movies in this series! Man, I wish they'd made more. Nothing beats a British-made film!

You know something he is 100% truth because of the bombs that are being made today ..they're 10 times stronger than the ones that were dropped on Japan.. we are not talking about taking out a city anymore.. we're talking about taking out half of a state.. modern nuclear warheads nobody will win everyone will die

A wealthy dealer is murdered and a private investigator is hired-he reminds me of philo Vance-William Powell’s detective and his secretary/assistant is smart but he has been calling her stupid a few times in the movie-it’s worth mentioning he found something fishy about the will the dead man allegedly made -so he made the little conference to flush out the real killer-and solved the case at the end of the flick! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

A scientist invents a time machine enabling him to go back in time! Tim holt has been in some good western movies as well as science fiction but this is the weirdest movie 🍿 I’ve ever seen-time travel has been used as a device for stories like this-but the results could be dangerous for the timeline! Tim’s advice for yesterday to be left alone for tomorrow rings true at the end of the flick! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

What a dissapointment. The whole thing was a dream. They did that with Edward G Robinson and the film ' Woman in the window '

When so many of us appreciate the absence of the F word, other obscenities and actors wearing modest clothes why don't movie Directors take note.

Loved this movie but can anyone explain, how did the police suddenly cop on to Torrance, and where did Williams get the nice suit to wear to dinner after his shave? He had no luggage, It's my guess is he had money and went to a menswear store. Sorry for the nit picking.

If this is a remake of "Ten Little Indians", does anyone know when the first version came out? This one says it's dated 1934. Pretty slick film for such any early movie date. I've seen several versions of this, and will watch as many more as they make! Classic plot that's timeless and never really gets old. One of my favorites is "Murder By Death" with an all-star cast. I give iit 5 stars!!

hollywood was in a noir rut for nearly 25 years....a host of mediocre crime and murder films cloyed the audience and threatened to bankrupt theater owners.....a few bright lights saved the industry....bogart, fred astaire, shirley temple, alfred hitchcock......but the noir murder and the cowboy western were done to death 10,000 ways and the movie biz was in a coma until elvis presley appeared in about 1955 and movies went off in entirely new directions

I enjoyed the black and white films out of that era but also it reminds me of America's dark past no rights for women no rights for people of color it's hard for me to enjoy when it was racist and male chauvinistic a lot of politicians and others are trying to bring back those dark times in America let us make sure that we stop them. The lives of a number of workers and executives in a manhattan skyscraper are affected by the actions of a philandering and crooked company boss! In a bit of levity,a guy in a tuxedo suit, apparently drunk, goes reeling around asking questions! Mary Brian looks pretty sexy and I see Walter Brennan in it! A drama you can watch!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

In 2013 critic Gary W. Tooze praised Impact as the quintessential B film: "As far as 'modest' film noirs go, this is one of the best. A simple plot idea is twisted to the max for late 1940s audiences."[--wiki

'The East Side Kids/Bowery Boys' did six, horror comedy pictures. This one first (1941), and 'Ghosts On The Loose' (1942. Of which is better). But the rest, doesn't have, Béla Lugosi😁!!!

At the time, Dave O'Brien also appeared regularly in MGM's "Pete Smith Specialties" {"Here, Joe Shmoe attempts to rid his happy home of a pesky fly........of course, the fly has *other* ideas."/ *Joe tries to swat the fly on the ceiling while standing on a rickety chair- that falls over, knocking him to the floor* / "Undaunted, Joe has *another* idea.......which should be good for at least two weeks of an enforced hospital vacation....."}.
