This was such a smart direction to go in. It’s retro but there is so much attention to detail when it comes to the set, lighting, costumes, and makeup/hair choices. It’s very, very 70s. Not just the aesthetics but the choreography and the simple fact that the dancers are the focus. Someone else here said one of the best decisions the choreographer made was to give advance dancers simple choreography to do. They have the training, the experience, and the musicality to fill in the blanks. So cool and so well done.
