I visited Venice a few years ago, loved it. Had a great meal in a restaurant I can remember the name of, but we basically got slightly lost and followed a group of gondola guys who were going for lunch. Always follow the locals imo when you are eating in a foreign place.

So impressed with everything that you've always done I've watched you on and off for years Jamie you are impeccable absolutely divine I could barely hold myself I had to get something to munch on as we started getting into this because my salivation glands were going crazy honey and so I decided to get a nice bowl of cereal while you were making the tiramisu it had to be done love you Jamie everything you do is world renowned you are the boss

Jamie Oliver went to an Italian Village, shot a Wild Boar ,and Cooked for the Entire Local Populace. He took advice from a dozen Grandma's who all gave poor Jamie conflicting advice. He had to organise a freaking Barbeque for the Wild Boar he shot and butchered, while getting advice from every Cook in The Village. Jamie Oliver has Balls of Steel. The Italians had A Feast.

The soft shell crabs are so nice. My mother in law was from Treviso. She used to put them alive in flour and egg. ,They kind of batter themselves from the inside. They were amazing. Just a recommendation to anyone visiting Veneto. Ask a locals about the restaurants where the lorry drivers go for fish. The food is amazing.
