It has been pretty mild for us… mid 70’s with little to no humidity. That will change in the next few days as it is supposed to get into the Mid 90’s

Wow, brother 32 miles, whew! Blazing trail magic! That looked yum yum yummy. Sunshine, rocks, trail magic, whats not to like? One thing I thought of for you guys: if you seriously want to fully enjoy one Natl Park, enjoy the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire. You can do this by slackpacking. Have the staff at the GlennCliff Welcome Hostel help you. They work in tandem with the hostel in Woodstock, New Hampshire. They take care of you completely and you have a nice cozy bed each night. If you can swing it, it is truly awesome! The Whites are so spectacular there is no place like it.

You guys certainly look like you are. Does a journey such as this bring people closer together? How does that happen? Is it organic? When there is a tru difference of opinion, how do you work it out so as not to damage the friendship you have?

There is always weight to lose. The lighter the better without sacrificing safety, minimize risk. Is there a concern about ticks?? Couple quick ideas, look at Natrapel it's a great spray on tick repellant also repels mosquitoes no seams do you spray your packs, tents clothing with Permetherin?? Have the bugs become problematic? Do you carry a headset? Best of luck on the 4 state challenge! Keep on the trak. You are doing a great job. Thank you for answering questions.
