I kinda get why he didn't push the north. he had the cqb advantage and broke the heavy weapons and did not know if there was more AT in the north.

That was a bit susp when you targeted the Fire Flies with the arty and he kept changing direction each time

This game really needs some new maps. Some Western/Central France maps would be good as well as Belgium/Holland maps. Getting a bit tired of fighting French/American Commonwealth/UK armies on Russian Steppe landscapes.

Kinda surreal, fighting over my hometown and the area I currently live in but feels cool. Also movin all those arty battalions was a bad move, most of em were in range of the frontline already and moving only meant that you couldnt use them when you ended the turn

@Kingdom of Steel, Steel Division II really does look good but the sound could be much better and accurate. If it had the same acoustics as COH it would be THE best WW II strategy game.

It almost feels like these voice overs are AI. Atleast they dont sound very enthusiatic or made with any sort of quality.

Great video! You should try compressing your own voice audio track a little, as now sometimes it's good and sometimes it's really quiet. Audacity (free software) has a build-in compressor if you don't have one yourself

Cool tip for Warno, don't know if you know it, but if you shift-right click a supply truck to your fob then back to your front line it will drive back, resupply then return automatically. Saves heaps of micro.

Very good tutorial, learned a lot. I had no idea you could select all units and then TAB between them. I always have trouble managing lots of infantry.

- The largest advantage for maverick is actually right at the 20 minute mark, start of phase c. At that point, they have produced 450 points more than a balanced deck. - At the 26 minute mark, balanced and maverick have produced the same number of points. - At the 32 minute mark, balanced has a 450 point advantage instead. A while back AtkPwr looked at tournament performance, and while maverick is way more popular than balanced, their win % is pretty close. I think this makes sense given the income differential timings; maverick really needs to get a flag advantage and get the timer going in its favor in A, otherwise a mid phase B push (or late) using point advantage won't hold that advantage long enough to force opponent into difficult counter attacks; they can take their time to build up after 26 min and counter-attack with a point advantage. However, getting a phase A flag advantage where you're only getting 5 more deployment points per minute isn't trivial vs equal skill...that can go either way. Failing early time pressure, maverick must otherwise use its phase B point advantage to start trading more effectively than the opponent, and keep that pressure going (aka not letting opponent build up a lot of units) to lengthen point advantage by consistently out-trading. It seems that high level players can do this, but that against other high-level players it's not so easy.

Well reason i didnt take that much heavy tanks is because i knew he didnt have that much armor and he had rositas so insted of one Panther card i took Panzer IVs

gg to shwere 25 panzer grenadiers is a good division but the lack of good AA and good fighters makes it challanging

Nothing you face in 17th SS requires a pak 41/43 should have brought more light AT like the Panzerbüchse because there is such a light vehicle/half track meta right now

Hahaha "Panzerbush". You literaly say: "Armored bush". It is Panzerbüchse: the "chs" is pronounced like the "x" in "fox" (the "ch" is like "k" here). The "ü" is like the "u" in the french "sur".

I personally never bother with heavy AA in mp matches as warsaw pact. When playing as warsaw pact I primarly go for a lot of harrasing anti air like manpad and a few mobile missile systems with radar, not to straight up stop the enemy air but to keep them busy and annoy them (maybe shoot a few down). Instead of investing in to a lot of AA I just go for mechanized pushes/rushes (later followed up by multiprong tank attacks) after the AT aircraft did there runs on smaller units or fake attacks. Sometimes they fail, But I have found it really catches the opponent of guard, especially when coordinating with a buddy on the flank to launch his own diversionary attack to draw the planes. Ussually I am fast enough to get enough mech/tanks out before the enemy can get up to many atgm's. And when he does I either pull back or just try to awnser them with towed artillery or rocket arty if I got them. If I succeed I try to gain as much ground as I can and spread out my infantry with the bmp's (or whatever IFV's/apc's I am fielding) in the back to give support fire. I then just try to stall to get my heavier vehicles/equipment out and go from there. If I dont succeed I pull back to a defensive position and just start massing arty for the mid-game. I feel like the best thing you can do against heavy airdecks is just spread out your units and keep doing small raids to have the enemy focus there attention on what is on my part a small investment. The main counter to my strat are those damned atgm's though :(. That and the terrible aim my gunners have sometimes. I find that this strat allows you to support your team a lot more on the ground, especially when they themselfs invest heavily into anti air or god forbid they go for warsaw pact airdecks xd.

its clear those units need to be visited by a commissar to encourage there aim the first group at least missing with all those. usually unless it happens more than id say forty percent i assume am not doing somthing right. would probably have to do a few tests to get a good idea.

16:56 Bren can fire below 100m because its Automatic rifle (like mg26, Bar). Light machine guns cannot fire below 100m (like mg42, DP)
