As a Samoan born n bred in Otara. I always envied this type of lifestyle in the bush. Being in city is hard, whereas for me being in the bush hunting and gathering is the closest thing for me to home (the islands) love this episode man mean as brothers involved

Dad was old school, off with the head, scale it and slice it into squares and add lemon, away you go.Until KZfaq came along I actually thought that most Islanders add coconut cream but pleasantly surprised, oh and dad would never get sick.

You know nothing about being a good person …. Until you’ve been a horrible person first .. and then do the work .. to finally become a good person ❤ If you haven’t struggled then you have no idea how you would behave in a desperate situation and so called “good” people have zero rights to judge anyone as “horrible”❤

Tu Meke ❤ this is what us Māori are about ❤️🔥 learning, creativity, supporting building a brighter future! Not just for US but also people around us. Yes we all make mistakes but we learn from it is the kaupapa😇 , 1 thing I did see was positivity 😍 keep up it @mahi kai (Rongo Keene) Yes it’s more supportive if it’s our own people from different backgrounds that would help make changes not (manuhiri)who give a wrong aspect of our culture which is discrimination but apologies no offence to anyone that found this comment offensive it my own words of recognition what I have experienced growing up 😢 in AOTEAROA 😝
