Best blocking FB I've ever seen... John Madden One of the most unsung giants. Play a video of Joe Morris highlights. Watch who's wipping out the edge and contain. The best blocking FB of my 50+ years. He was an absolute joy to watch play. No one plays like him today. And hasn't for a long time.

Numbers you wanted to know where they were on the field: 56 Taylor, 42 Lott, 50 Singletary and 92 White. You wanted to and needed to know where these dudes were at on the field. There are others but these are the biggest ones.

Hi Jim! I am Roger’s Brown daughter Parker, I was wondering if there’s anyway you could send me more footage you have of him? Or even photos you have in your possession? I’ve never seen half of this footage and I would love to see more if you have it

Hi! Sorry I’m just seeing this now. I looked and looked and look over the last few years (and will continue to look). It’s hard to find footage/pictures of many guys from those days. So much easier now with more access/cameras in the stadiums. If I do find, how can I contact you? Thanks Jim

Mark Bavaro is an integral part of two Super Bowl Championship teams and certainly a high profile part of the New York Giants Hall of Fame (Ring of Honor). On the down side, he was such a big target and refused to go down, taking many vicious hits during his both his college and NFL career, plus a serious knee condition, cutting his playing career and career stats short, and that's probably why he won't make the NFL Hall of Fame. But we will always remember him for the six years of pure joy that he brought us during the 1985-1990 period. And if NFL Hall of Fame status were measured as value to two Super Bowl championship teams within a four-year period, he would definitely be there.

I grew up watching him play next to three other great linebackers and I can say he was a great one himself. If you put him on another team he would be a star in his own right.

I’m not a Giants fan but I’m a Mark Bavaro fan. He’s one tough SOB that played the game the right way. You wouldn’t lose a game if you had a team of Bavaro like players.

Taylor changed the game of football. There are not many players who you can say have done that. He was an unstoppable force when he was on top of his game. No one could block him.
@jwblue5756 ай бұрын
It is too bad he was dealt a bad hand genetically. Something to do with his spinal chord? Loved him as a player - he was one of those guys on our team that could have started for just about any other team in the NFL (maybe not the Saints in that era?) . Always think about Headen and Byron Hunt from those years. Hope life dealt them a better hand outside of football.
