Okay, every single nation has been formed from various ancient subgroups. What is wrong with that? Is there a nation which comes from a single unique stock??? As you have very little knowledge of the Greek history you might not be aware that the Greeks has been a mixture of Aegean and Anatolian tribes. This is a well knon fact and noone denies that, except for people with poor knowledge of history. E.g. Ancient Cretans (5000 years ago) had no genetic connection with Ancient Dorians, this does not make us to believe that the Cretans are not Greek. Same applies to many other ancient people who eventually united culturally and linguistically and we now know them as a single nation. Btw, your example with English and Irish is also very simplistic. Could you define who are Englishmen? Hahah.. English people is a mixture of Saxons, Scandinavians, Romans, French and local predominantly Celtic tribes. Irish are Celts mixed with Romans and English (ie. the mixture described above) to a very little extent.

You are absolutely incorrect in what you are trying to present. Are you a professional researcher with specialisation in Greek dialects? Do you want to say the same about Griko dialect in Southern Italy or Cypriot dialect in Cyprus? If you are not a specialist I would advise that you do a simplie search in google and find what Cambridge University studies think about this language. Stop spreading nonsense and misinformation. The whole world very well aware of the "unbiased" studies and museums in Turkey. You are making a good point though and I would focus on the fact that 80% of Turkish population have no Turkic/Central Asian DNA. This would be much more interesting. Btw, your reference to ancient populations you mentioned have no connection with the ancient populations which existed in the region where the Pontic Greek has been spoken. Furthermore, in order you or anyone else to compare DNAs of Ancient Greeks with anyone else you have to have a satisfactory number of DNA samples of those Ancient Greeks! For that you need to answer the questions like whom should you consider as Ancient Greeks - Ancient Macedonians? Ionians? Dorians? Minoans? Pelasgians? and more... At the moment we just know or suspect that all of them had different DNAs.. and we have just handful number of samples.
