I am loving your videos! I really liked how the glass vase with Persephone on it turned out! It does look like concrete and I love it! I also like the way you tell us what price you will probably put on your items. I’m in the South so I figure my pricing should be around the same as yours. ❤

Your prices are amazing…. The amount of work and expensive materials you use, I’m not surprised how quickly they sell!! It would be less expensive for me to buy from you then buy all the products and do it myself… Beautiful work!! BTW, just love NC….

I really like your Persephone vase!! And I appreciate you posting it even though you weren’t sure. It’s a great reminder about how much shrinkage you could get with a mold that size that I’m not sure I would have considered before seeing this 😊

Your prices are so inexpensive!! Is that the market where you are at? I’d love to visit if the antiques are the same!! 😊
@ReclaimedGrace13 сағат бұрын
The market is different at both my locations. One spot I can price a little higher than the other. But I do keep in mind that I want my items to go fairly quickly and not sit in my booth forever. I also struggle with knowing my worth ;) So it's a mixture of my market and me Thanks so much for watching

I really loved all your projects and had a hard time picking a favorite, but I think I have to say the rocker is. It truly turned out beautifully. I do have a question for you though. Instead of the loose polyfill, have you tried using the upholstery batting instead? It comes either in sections or on a roll that the amount needed will then be cut for you. The sunflower pillow you found the day before is gorgeous on that chair also, and you're absolutely right in that it's a perfect match with the chair.
@ReclaimedGrace2 күн бұрын
No I haven't ever tried that upholstery batting.. I definitely will check it out, because the loose stuffing is what I was struggling with. Thanks so much for being here and commenting :)

I would have done the seat of the chair a little differently. Retied the springs, omit the webbing and used and an inch and a half of foam pad, then bonded dacron. Foam is our modern substitute for the cotton and horse hair. Once I get the "bones" of a seat rebuilt, I usually cover it with a layer of strong but thin canvas, pulled very tightly before I add the final upholstery fabric. That way, if I ever want to upholster it again I just need to remove the outer fabric and replace it, quick and easy. As far as a good stapler goes, mine is pneumatic (air powered). We already had an air compressor though. They are a little heavier than hand or electric stapler. But they drive those staples all the way in effortlessly.
@ReclaimedGrace2 күн бұрын
That makes perfect sense! FOAM duh ;) i don't know why i didn't think about using foam lol Thank you for your wisdom :)

Love that rocking chair and what you did to it! The pillow looked perfect with it. The vintage Halloween decoupage projects were adorable and the IOD mold pictures looked high end. Great stuff and I love your prices! Now if you were just a little closer to Wisconsin! LOL
