To those who think the 4k is referring to 4k resolution, it is not. The 4k refers to 4 kilobytes, as in this version of Minecraft, actually made by Notch, was written within 4 kilobytes of file space, meaning it has significantly less features than standard Minecraft, but is in a way a technological marvel (although much more impressive compressions of game code have been done before)

The reason why the gameplay of this video was Minecraft Infdev-20100627 and not Minecraft Infdev-20100625-2 is because Minecraft Infdev-20100625-2 has a bug which cause signs to crash the game.

hello, how did you get that version to work? because when i tried to do that it said "Sorry, unable to start Minecraft." and the error is "Internal error. Name: REQUEST_FAILED Error details: Unable to prepare assets for download"

I use the betacraft launcher. betacraft.uk/downloads The reason why it did't work is because very old versions of minecraft were played on the minecraft website (minecraft.net) and had to be played online but the old minecraft.net/resources for the Survival Test version were remove in December 16, 2010 which makes it "unplayable" without using launchers what are made to be old versions.
