@25:11 massive buildings for low income housing being built? Right in the middle of the city?

From an ex soviet block perspective it looks like one of those little american towns we saw on tv while growing up in the 80s and 90s. As a boy i dreamed about living in place like that in a wooden house with a porch. The city looks absolutely gorgeous for me, especially with the autumn vibe.

You should! I am a big fan of moving. I think anyone grows to dislike certain setting after being in them to long.

This was taken in 2022, the year that I was kicked out of Oxfort St shelter for recording a staff member's abusive behaviour. Anyways, long story short, I was living under a shopping cart minding my own, when I met somebody who reminded me that Portland is full of unexpected surprises. This city, and all its trenches, birthed the best parts of me. I'm homesick, but grateful that there are so many videos, like this.

I can tell this is a 1-2 year old video by @7:32 by the lack of a 160' tall 8-story glass biotech building that 4 weeks ago that was architecturally topped off.

We moved to Marietta in 1963, when I was 10. I lived there until I graduated from Marietta College in 1976, and then again from 1993-2001. Great little town, back in the day.

Pittsburgh's downtown looks so much better than my city's(Atlanta) downtown. It's more condensed & looks better that way, & it makes more sense to be that way. There's also a great mix of old & new.
@marial82357 ай бұрын
It is safer than the Atl as well. But that is because the city area is so much less populated even compared to the 1990s. The best thing about Pittsburgh is that is an affordable mid-sized city with most big city amenities. It is not a 24/7 city like NYC though.
