How do they fill the training halls? I mean, do they recruit lifters or do people ask to join?
@lihua394111 ай бұрын
they have coaches go to local schools and scout out kids

@@lihua3941 Hey thanks for responding! I'm American and curious because in the USA we get a lot of propaganda that makes it seem likes kids are sort of forced into sports schools: Is there gym time paid for by the state? Do they get support for their diets? I ask because obviously they eat more than the normal person.
@lihua394111 ай бұрын
@@FeedMyKids1 Haha no problem. Funny enough, before I moved to America, I got sent to one of those sports schools for swimming by my parents. So feel free to ask me any questions you have. 1. Until they are adults, they don't receive any money unless they are metaling in competitions. 2. Diet, housing, and equipment are all free, there is a team dinning hall and dorms for athletes that lives too far away to commute everyday
@FeedMyKids111 ай бұрын
@@lihua3941 That's cool that they at least don't have to pay for their training and equipment. Any American sport (in most cases) require the athlete or their family to provide the equipment and food but the few hours of training a week are free (from what I remember). My track and field clothes were lent to me by the team so it wasn't bad at all. Are the kids pretty motivated to work there or is it like America where it's just a mix of everything?
@lihua394111 ай бұрын
@@FeedMyKids1 I would say 70% are really motivated, because they chose to join the team, and it was a real way for some of them to bring their family out of poverty. I was part of the rest that slacked off. The group that slacked off were mostly people from higher social economic classes that got forced to join the team cause our parents didn't want us to play video games all day lol.
