I was able to install these last night with a Vortex 30mm tube size and 44m objective szie using the medium permanent install rings, and I have the mechanical ability of an orangutan (kept the video on replay basically the whole time). They feel like they are a high quality product. @Warne it would be nice to have confirmation on what to do when the scope manufacturer suggests a different torque than you do (e.g. 18 in-lbs)

Great video. I wonder if the whip would be less pronounced if the barrel was, I don't know, say...mounted in a stock?

Imo... I think someone should make a OPTIC PLATE that mounts on the RIB and make the TOP part long enough to come back as far as if it was drilled & Tapped ...that way the optic wouldn't be so far FOWARD
@burkejones82772 ай бұрын
That would be similar to a cantilever mount. But I have never seen one that wasn’t built into the barrel. I have a rib mount on a shotgun with a microdot on it. I wasn’t sure how I would like it at first, but I wouldn’t want anything else after shooting it. I had one on a picatinny rail, but I like this better.

Are you a used car salesman? I mean that sort of attitude is something I'd expect to hear when I'm buying a used car at the car lot and I ask them to do something for you to seal the deal. They say no, and the lose the sale but the salesman couldn't care less because in his mind he's won. $50 indeed!

I have the same issue but adapted a little differently. I added an undercut on the trigger guard so that i can hit the mag release with my middle finger. It is not an option on every handgun, but it is nice not having to break my grip. I call it the reach around.

Best way is keeping the left hand stationary as. You slide the gun through it then extend it to grip the pistol that way there is no two way movement. Both hands move forward
@WarneUSA5 ай бұрын
Good Point. Thank you for pointing that out. He demonstrates that in the end but needs to fully explain it as he explains gripping the slide.
