Is there a way to make it to where angle is on a full 360 degrees numerical value?

yep, if the angle is in degrees, you can convert it to radians using Mathf.Deg2Rad(angle) when passing it into the Cos() and Sin() functions

A quick tip to add to your last one: in Unity, you can use the [SerializeField] attribute to edit private variables in the Unity editor without making them public. This can keep your code clean and secure. Just add [SerializeField] before the variable declaration.
