I think it was always stated that the best trained were on the Frontline and sent on secluded missions thanks to the chancellor, and so the only people left were Padawans and knights.

Bonus rewards of monster parts. In mhgu I know there is a nargacuga capture quest you have to do in order to get the quest for a new canteen ingredient. And in mhw and ice borne it does unlocks canteen ingredients.

unfortunately, no. Its just some materials are only available through capture over hunting

The monster was not goin in my shock trap and my pitfall trap so i lost my shock trap and pitfall trap cuz the monster wont go to it, so i got mad and killed it

It do be like that sometimes :') I guess it just takes some time getting used to since capturing isn't as straightforward as hunting and slaying. It doesn't help that we can only bring one of each type of trap too lol

Some monsters are only affected by certain traps. Gypceros is immune to shock traps. And traps don't work on elder dragons

Great vid man! I only have one question. What happens if I don't have any trap tools, and in the middle of a capture mission I run out of traps. Do I reset the mission?

Yeah your best bet is to reset the quest. On the plus side you wont lose any items that you used.

I'm looking for videos explaining how to figure out when you can capture- I noticed some monsters don't limp when low on health, like Nargacuga and Najarla, so I was wondering if there is anything other than intuition to help there.

Nargacuga does limp but it can be hard to notice even for me. I would focus on getting the skill capture guru to avoid that headache.

@@recklessmedia492 I did notice it later when working on hub quests, just where it was standing the first time was right where it could fly away- so I never got to see the animation. But yeah, maybe I'll just train up my assist palico some more: it has the skill already.
