Good video. Thanks for being honest. I think the issues with dirt like grains or dust and cleaning it all the time is nothing for me. Maybe I will buy a Razer Strider. I hope it’s not so loud…

I dont want to spend too much on a mouse and I have been eyeing superlight but I thought that well I have always used fingertip grip and I have been daily driving g305 for about 5 years and lately I notice it even more that I sometimes get cramps in my hand and my aim is sometimes really wonky and i always re arrange my grip because of the shape , I used to run rival 500 I think ? The big chonker and I literally had to pause sometimes as my hand was tired. I do have quite big hands and long fingers so I always thought that the bigger mouses are for me but nah, I do have some cheap logitech small mouse in my office and it just suits me. I already order M4 and I am excited to try it

absolute legend i guess. anyway im dominant right handed and it's how i played most of my life. i currently have a logitech g705 and I'm a wholly illiterate. either my mouse sensor is skipping frames (it does on the desktop sometimes but that might me lifting the mouse accidentally) or am just jittery while using both the keyboard and mouse. either way I'm considering to play with this on my left hand when it arrived next weekend since i feel like my left handed has a naturalish movement but of course with zero practice and thus very impractical. typing this on a tablet was hell.

I want to buy this mouse. But I'm not sure if the coating (or lack of as you said in the video) of white shell would be easy to stain. You said you use this for every use case possible. How's the mouse holding up right now? Is it dirty now? If so, I guess I should buy the black one.

I would've never considered a pad like this due to their limited size. I used to have a 114cm/360 sensitivity when I was heavy into FPS, but now I'm sitting between 40-50cm/360. It varies a bit since I haven't been taking FPS a seriously as I used to, but I've adjusted to this much higher sensitivity and have been enjoying it quite a lot. Because of this sensitivity change I'm very close to making the decision to switch from my Razer strider to the Razer Atlas. It seems to be a great end game pad. Amazing glide while still having enough stopping power to not be a ice rink. Appreciate the review and info, ya earned a new sub from me 👍.

do you main this mouse now, or do you use the HSK pro still. Im in the market for a FT mouse and I cant choose between this mouse or the HSK pro, Also I have the mz1 but now that im using it i found that i gripping the mouse further to the back and i find sometimes i cant reach the scroll wheel when im gripping it towards the back. my hand size is 18cm L and 10cm W.

I have all 3 mice you’ve mentioned and the one I main currently is the Keychron M4. I have a special place for the MZ1 at heart. I only use the HSK Pro when the battery dies on the Keychron M4. Maybe some advice would be, pick up an M4 and if you love it, then you could try the HSK Ace or Pro. The M4 is so much cheaper, better to work up on the price scale than down in my opinion. Feel free to check out the reviews I’ve linked in the description to get a second opinion. Hope this helps

This will be my first ftip mouse I will try. I've been claw gripping for years but I've been interested in these little mice for a while now, unfortunately there has just been a very expensive barrier of entry. I can't commit $160+ to a thing I might not even like that will often be a pain to return overseas. This thing looks awesome for such a reasonable price. Even if I don't like it for gaming, it will be great for my WFH job.

how do you play w your palm covered like that? I bought an arm sleeve with a palm cover like that & it not only feels different gripping the mouse (the palm portion doesn’t contour to my hand perfectly), but also you get pretty much no reference point on the mousepad & very little stopping power. it felt awful so I just roll it down into a normal arm sleeve. any tips to make it feel better?

LOL .. bro, Oleophobic coating on a glass mousepad seems like a *horrible* idea. Any oleophobic coating will eventually wear off. Anyone who uses their phone without a screen protector can tell you this. On every phone I've used without a screen protector, including my s22 ultra, the coating wears off esp on the place I use / swipe most with my finger. If you've had your phone for a while and used it without a screen protector, try this. Take a wet cloth, and wipe your screen clean. Do you notice that on some parts of the screen the water will stay longer and basically stick to the glass? That's where the coating has worn off. This means the Razer pad will not be anywhere near as durable as a skypad or superglide. One of the nice things about these glass pads is that they practically last forever. By putting a coaiting on it, that benefit goes away entirely and eventually the surface will feel inconsistent On top of that you still seem to be wearing/needing a sleeve for it.. so what's the point of the coating?

would love to see more longterm reviews on cloth pads. for example wondering when my venus will kick the bucket. washed it aleady multiple times with regular washing powder and a soft bristle brush. it survived all of it, but i can honestly not tell if it slowed downs it must have been so gradual. same goes for my equate v2. maybe cloth pads just getting so much better these days, that the regular 1-2 year lifespan isn't accurate anymore. obviously, you can't make a lot of them, but a few select ones, maybe on your favorite cloth pads would be nice. i would really also like to know when you make the call to get a new one and what's the deciding factor.

I tested this extensively last night. I've been on the Skypad's since launch and grabbed the 3.0 early due to the larger size vs the OG so it's been my main over a year. I used Tiger Ice dots on a Viper V2 @ 4000hz. I ran the Atlas for 3 days exclusively. I ran multiple games with max bot difficulty in MW2. Exchanging out pads after rounds and running the exact same matches. Some game instances were no scope setups and the others were with 300 damage to test tracking with autos and I compared my scores and crazy plays I captured. In terms of speed, they both feel almost identical to me. Micro adjustments\control has the slightest edge on the Atlas. There were just a few instances especially on 180's where I thought, "I'd make that shot on my skypad" but most definitely had some highlight flicks that were extremely good either way. I am a 43cm aimer for reference. My overall take, SkyPad is it. If you're close to a Best Buy they actually carry the Atlas so it's quick to pick up. Today I am trying the final pad which is GameSense Sonar which is a glass control pad and I am super interested to experience this. If I had to make an educated guess, it would be that SkyPad is just hard to beat. My only issue is the original SkyPad had a better textured surface and was crazy cracked playing on. The 3.0 does not have this. I wish they would have made that an option as its was superior to me but smaller.
@VoltaReviews
@VoltaReviews 10 ай бұрын
Thanks for the detailed comment! I also tend to prefer the Skypad. I enjoy tracking with it more in game for some reason, it just feels nicer to the Atlas in my opinion. I wanted to pick up the GameSense Sonar but haven't had a chance as of yet. Let me know which pad you're leaning towards as your favourite
@TheBrandonAF

@@VoltaReviews I’m going to post a video of the Gamesense Sonar tomorrow. It’s definitely not for me but can absolutely be called a control glass pad. You can easily see it in the game play. I did 4 games, bots in MW2 hardest difficulty. 2 games with 300 damage to demonstrate tracking and 2 games at 100 damage showing no scoping. You may find this one interesting to review. You’ll definitely prefer the Skypad is my guess. Something about this pad once you use it properly that makes it’s so fun to use.

I went with the sykpad because I dont rate oleophobic coatings. It will wear away eventually. The biggest pro for a glasspad for me is the durability. The skypad can be cleaned in a second with some glass surface cleaner and cloth, and its approved by Skypad. Razers will always leave room for thoughts of degradation over time, and with a price tag that matches, just doesnt do it for me. Ill stick with the skypad for now. Pulsar does state it has a microtexture layer too in the amazon ad but I dont know if that means oleophobic or not.
