I think that the vampire diaries ended on a good note because at least we were able to see Elena and Damon have a human life together. Elena will always love Stefan but she knew that Damon was worth loving. Damon, and Stefan both went through a whole ordeal in their lives before they met Elena. Damon, might be known as the impulsive, and reckless vampire but he is just as loving, caring, and compassionate as Stefan just in a different way that doesn’t mean he can’t be a lovable person but in order for Damon to change and become the man he is supposed to be everyone has to learn, respect, and love him the way he is. Damon, does have a habit of sabotaging things when someone is trying to give him the chance to change his ways and even when he screws up Bonnie, Alaric, Caroline, Elena, Stefan, and Enzo are always there to rescue him from himself and that’s why I love that even though they hated Damon they never abandoned him because they knew that there’s good in him. I also think that it didn’t matter who ended up with Elena whether it was Stefan or Damon they would be able to have a much better brotherly relationship.

I think that if we saw more of Damon’s backstory as a human we would have a much better understanding of why he wanted to die as a human instead of becoming a vampire and Stefan is the one who made him drink human blood when Damon didn’t want to he assumed that Katherine died but she faked her death. Damon hid his compassion away from everyone but when he was with Elena he showed it more.

I think that even though Damon, is known as the impulsive and reckless vampire underneath the surface he is a loving, and caring person who wants to be loved and cared about and that’s what Elena did she accepted him either way just like Damon did with Elena. When Elena, transitioned into a vampire Damon helped Elena to embrace it and learn how to feed from the vein. Damon, has never had anyone love him as much as Elena does and I still found that it was unfair for Stefan, and Caroline to base their relationship on the sire-bond. She will always love Stefan no matter what that will never change. Stefan, was Elena’s epic love and Damon is her true love.

Elena, saw the good in Damon ever since the beginning even in season 1 episode 13 Children of the damned. Even though Elena, hated Damon she never abandoned him and I knew that Damon was always the good brother. I know that Stelena shippers don’t like Damon and what he does but he did things to get business done to love, and protect the people he cares about Stefan, Elena, Liz, Rose, Alaric, Bonnie, and others. Damon, was always a good brother to Stefan he wouldn’t let anything happen to him. Damon, did promise Stefan an eternity of misery for making him become a vampire when he didn’t want to which I felt bad for Damon at that time and when Katherine said that she never loved Damon and only Stefan I felt really bad for Damon as well while I was watching that scene but I do think that Katherine cared about Stefan and Damon in her own way. When Elena kissed Damon in this scene it didn’t mean she was betraying Stefan in any way she was always faithful to him even when he loss his humanity she loved him through the good and the bad. Stefan, and Damon both love Elena but in different ways. Stefan, knew that Elena was falling in love with Damon even before season 4 episode 7 My brother’s keeper he realized that she loves Damon. Elena, helped them to stop feuding about Katherine and Damon, learned to love, care, and be compassionate with others. Liz, Alaric, Rose, and Isobel really loved and cared about Damon so did Elena.

I love love love this your very talented!!! Damon and Elena were always going to end up together. As much as I love Stephan and I do it always seemed to be that it's the kind high school love that you grow out of (saying that I married my high school love) anyway. They had so much passion even in the times when they were so angry with each other for one reason or other they had fire 🔥. Damon would never put anyone above her she will always be his first priority no matter what the situation. As long as she's OK and safe he's happy, I never got that feeling from Stephan and Elena although they were really good together I never saw them lasting. When Damon fed her vampire blood and Stephan walked up the mountain with her she said she didn't want to think about her future she was to young to think that far ahead. Yet with Damon she said the only future she saw was him, her and him together she made him promise that their love was forever.

I was Stelena at the beginning, and this is how I became Delena. It was just like them, I suppose. It was something. A feeling. I ignored, or tried, but I just couldn't run from it. I didn't even needed to accept anything...their bond, their faith in each other, how they built and inspired each other, how they needed and listened to each other, their constant understanding with their growing relationship, their love, a so real and once-in-a-lifetime type of love...when I realized, I was in love with this couple, how they worked together, believed...that was unique. I can tell all these reasons you presented here were what made me love them, but I know that something about them just tells is much more than 101 reasons, but we just can't describe or say. It's something everyone wants to find, but no words seem worth to describe 💖💖 you just know deep down all the time.
