Gamblelock It's basically a nuzlock, but harder. Before each gym i only get to add ONE new pokemon to my team. So if i go to route (whatever) and encounter a pidgy, i can either take it, or gamble on finding a better pokemon at the next location. Same rule as a nuzlock - so only ONE encounter per area. So if i leave that pidgy and go to route (another), there is no going back for it later! This means i only have the opportunity to get TEN pokemon in the game, so every death matters! (1 starter, 8 gyms, 1 before elite 4)
