I think a really interesting detail that seems too important to just ignore, is that there are only two types of living trees in The Lands Between. One resembles the Erdtree, the other is distinctly similar to the greattree reliefs. It to me suggests that there was a different tree, that is still sprouting new shoots from it’s root system, despite the central tree being long gone.

this is pretty interesting, i had just assumed that the madness first arrived at the death of the baby by nanaya going mad with grief first a and then upon her death shortly after, midra lost his own hope and will to live through experiencing the back to back deaths of his first born and his beloved wife leading him to be susceptible. and that it was midra and nanya's child that the frenzied flame had originally wanted as it's lord of chaos but settled for midra instead

Dude the symbols on the road are just old golden order symbols meant to represent the original size of the control of the golden order, it's been talked about by quite a few people and is NOT a mystery. There's even a few of those specifically designed bricks in all but one of the lookout towers, meant to connect the watchtowers with this great road like Rome once had. This road, dubbed the "Gold Road" by a few people at this point, connects the entirety of the Lands Between, but is much more intricate near the Capital itself. If you, for some reason, want to watch a video on the symbols of the road, a KZfaqr named "Nameless Singer" actually does some amazing work on breaking down this Gold Road, please go check her work out!!
