Prochaine machine que j'vais acheter !!! J'suis convaincu. A la base j allais partir sur le SPL Transient Designer 4 MK2, mais le Elysia à beaucoup + d'options et même la démo sur une situation en mastering ma bluffé... Elle a l'air assez tout terrain cette machine, elle sera la bien venue pour venir s'ajouter a ma chaîne de périphériques hardware. Par contre se sera la version rack 19'' plutôt que la version format 500. Merci pour cette vidéo explicative !!

Yes you can use it in mono. But keep in mind that you can use only one mono signal, - not dual mono.

Howdy. I have elysia xpressor neo, If I connect it to the uad apollo twin, can I record the voice through it? I saw that the compressor is stereo, and I record the voice in mono.. Or how could I record it in mono through it

Yes you can use it in mono. Just connect only one signal (left or right) and use the controls as you're used to. But keep in mind that you can use only one mono signal, - not dual mono.

I tell you what - Ive seen that Elysia 500 series rack that has been floating around KZfaq. Fully loaded with Elysia gear. I would go all in on a system like this, since your gear is top of the line and affordably priced. I believe you are just missing a dual mono version of the xfilter, or a similar mono console style parametric EQ. Many of us wish to simulate a console style workflow and some Elysia 500 series EQs would be a NO BRAINER for many like myself. I would easily buy ten and load up a rack in a heartbeat. An Elysia console?? yes please!

You can bring up the room with the elysia nvelope. Even small rooms benefit from it when using it on room mics.

I get a very slight distortion on my vocals with the karacter. With plug-ins this is almost impossible, because it always sounds digitally artificial and with pedals and other modules I haven't managed to get such a velvety analogue slight distortion that you almost don't notice, but which brings that certain something of crunch to the vocals. For me the karakter is the King of finetuning saturation. 👌

Hi, yes this would work as you've described. Connect a microphone signal to mix an and your computer to mix b - then choose your preferred level and mix :)
