This was an interesting story, it really shows that Daoud's hard work and it makes me appreciate the humanity of going through the struggle to earn some titles and achieve great goals good job Roman. Matt when you want to get to the climax and display all that hard work, do not but some grain filter or try to age the shot. I can barely see the detail of the muscles, which is pretty important considering the story. Also try your best to get a better seat closer to the stage. Also that interview with the parents, the framing has too much head room. Try to do more closeups or more variation. The cut is nice, nice job matt, nice job roman. Very cool.

I like this a lot, I can relate to the heat complaints, My AC is out at work, and I think about how this couldve all been prevented if big corps stopped being jerkholes and ruining the planet. Then i remember that I could just call in a health complaint loll. good film, the color grading was nice especially with the part that had switched between the warm toned living room, to the movie which had blues and greens. :)

Very nice I would've liked to see some insert shots of maybe like a heat have in the distance or an extreme close up of sweat on their skin, just so the audience can relate to their suffering and so that we can visualize that suffering more. And there is a reflection behind them on the couch that is a little distracting. Good time feeling though.

Not only were the shots visually appealing but your composition seems on point and sparing of distractions, you got everything you needed in frame to express the emotions. I would like to see different lenses utilized make the close ups and wides stand out from each other. That close up of the MC in the pool has a beautiful contrast in the frame, where the left side more dark than the right. Well done.

The Good - The concept of the film is great - The locked off shots are beautiful - I feel immersed in the characters mind The Bad - The VO is very reverberant for no plot reason - The handheld is to shaky imo (tbh personal preference)
