Fantastic bike. Glad you are enjoying it. The base XR is on my shortlist of bikes. Going from a ZX 14 it would be nice to have a lighter bike with more comfort. Enjoy the Kilometers.

Prima moto cade perché troppo lenta nel tornate (forse perché troppo vicina ad auto lenta): effetto giroscopico scompare e nella pendenza del tornate moto cade (vedere Stelvio)! Il 2° ha tutte le colpe della sua caduta, si lamenta ma se era più distante poteva fermarsi con moto non in pendenza. Il 3° è volenteroso, però spara considerazioni e giudizi inappropriati.

Stendiamo un vagone di veli pietosi per non aver chiesto ai signori più grandi come stanno.. l’importante era vedere quali enormi danni si è fatta la “bimba”. Hai chiesto il consenso ai due signori di pubblicare su KZfaq la loro caduta? Neanche la targa e il viso hai oscurato. Tralascio ulteriori considerazioni, le ritengo totalmente inutili.

Aggiungerei che i commenti successivi sono del tutto inopportuni. Se si tiene la distanza di sicurezza magari si evitano imprevisti improvvisi. Però dai… non saranno troppi i danni come valore per chi si può permettere una RS. Magari i signori erano da considerare diversamente…. Mah!!!

@@emiliano-videoamatorialile tue sono una delle tante considerazioni che non ho scritto. Ma c’è una cosa che mi ha lasciato una tristezza che non so descrivere. La totale assenza di umanità. Una coppia adulta in terra, la signora con evidenti dolori all’anca. Nessuna carezza, nessun segno di umanità. Le bestemmie, e l’imbarazzo della coppia nel vedere quel ragazzo in preda angoscia per la moto. era solo una moto. Rimaniamo umani, non dimentichiamoci che siamo di passaggio, e quello che rimane di noi e ciò che abbiamo fatto e detto. Ciò che abbiamo fatto e detto.. null’altro.

È una strada pubblica, non vi è alcuna aspettativa di privacy. Ovviamente l’unica cosa che conta in questa situazione è che stiano tutti bene. Ciò era evidente dal fatto che si sono alzati immediatamente e si sono spostati, quindi non ho visto alcun motivo per indagare ulteriormente. Come puoi sentire se hai guardato il video, ho detto più volte che la cosa più importante è che tutti stiano bene.

Questo, da un punto di vista civile” Aldilà nel fattore giuridico, vi è quello morale, etico. Questo è un punto fondamentale, ragione del mio commento precedentemente.

Devi solo abituarti al fatto che non esiste privacy nella realtà odierna. Inoltre, hanno visto che avevo una camera enorme proprio sul mento e non hanno chiesto di non pubblicare.

Purtroppo il problema principale è sempre lo stesso ....che non si tocca bene moto troppo alta ,quindi distanza e prevenire il più possibile

Il primo purtroppo è caduto perché ha inchiodato e la moto si è puntata in avanti e magari gli si è anke spenta...poi in fue tenerla su nn è facile anke con la pendenza che c'era...il secondo invece...beh bella la ducati ma bisogna imparare ad andare in strada nel modo corretto...ovvero distanza e prudenza ad aspettarsi roba del genere nei tornanti...poi ragazzzi oh son due graffi i pezzi nn si cambiano per dei graffietti...altrimenti mettiamole in casa dentro una teca ste moto...😂 Anzi direi fin troppo gentile il primo a fermarsi con voi sembrav9 più dispiaciuto lui...😂😂

Ma vuoi fare causa per quale motivo,forse per le distanze di sicurezza non rispettate??Il primo è caduto x i fatti suoi punto,il tuo amico fosse stato più distante riusciva a scansarlo e non sarebbe caduto,anzichè stargli attaccato alla targa!! Poi il tuo amico da fermo non riesce a tenere su la moto dai....per fortuna non vi siete fatti male,le moto si riparano.

I’m an engineer at BMW for 34 yrs. Running an engine constantly at lower gears and higher RPMs WILL ruin your engine, in the long run eventually. Yes the sound at lower gears and higher rpms is addictive, but if you really listen to your engine, you’ll hear the damage being done slowly. But what do I know, I’m NOT THE EXPERT HA?. Treat it well and it will outlive you. Another point, SWITZERLAND is NOT the most beautiful country in the world. I lived for 4 years in Basel doing my engineering masters there. It’s overpriced, over rated and very unfriendly country. Try the Canadian rockies or the fjords in Norway. Biker heaven. NO CONTEST! I have the same bike with the competition pack. Ride safe. Enjoy it. That’s my 2 cents.

Hey man, thanks a lot for your feedback. Honest question: what would you consider high rpm for this engine? I know it is best for the engine to alternative the rpm, but I don’t think an hour at a constant 6-8k will ruin anything. Switzerlands nature is beautiful though, especially in Ticino which is full of mountains :) Norway is indeed incredible (haven’t been to Canada) but you can’t ride there all year round!

Questi sono i motociclisti moderni... che tristezza... Abs, iniezione elettronica (non fa il ciuff del carburatore) mappe per ogni situazione, sospensioni intelligenti, moto da 15 mila euro a salire... bah... lasciamo perdere... Potete spendere quello che volete ma non si impara a 30 anni a guidare una moto. E anche il secondo: vediamo se adesso impara a tenere la distanza di sicurezza da chi lo precede. O almeno a tenere una traiettoria che gli permetta di sorpassare all'esterno.... ma cosa scrivo a fare... Disperati per lo specchietto grattato... Nooo.... solo per le rate del finanziamento. E per quanto dovrete scendere di prezzo nel vendere la moto dopo uno spavento così... Per il vostro bene... tornate sui vostri suv.

Seems like you know very little about this bike… in the video I was still under 1000km, so the first service wasn’t completed and the max rpm was limited to about 9k. This bike revs to 14.5k rpm. Staying at 6k is a breeze for it

Bisognerebbe andare nei corsi, quello davanti ha sbagliato tutto per affrontare il tornante sia traiettoria e il freno, ma una piccola percentuale ha colpa anche quello dietro, la traiettoria era giusta ma la distanza era errata, nei corsi ti insegnano di stare lontano da quelli davanti perché può capitare questo, se la distanza era corretta poteva evitarli e non cadeva, consiglio sempre dei corsi a me mi è servito tanto e sono soldi spesi bene

Pikes Peak guy needs to take some courses, he can't ride simple as that. Slams the front brake with the wheel turned, and he starts panicking at slow speeds. In the other videos it is very evident, he puts his leg out when speeds drop below 5 mph and keeps it out until the speeds go up.

Unfortunately it happens to the best of us! I feel sorry for both… the guy with his wife probably fell because he put his foot out, couldn’t feel the ground that he expected and lost balance. Anyhow I agree that you should anticipate anything and know how to deal with such situations using progressive breaking.

You’ve got to ride the bike differently to a multi cylinder sports bike, short shift into high gears so the rpm’s come right down, everything smooths out and you waft along on the torque. You have to relax and chill out more, if you want speed everywhere you really are on the wrong bike. Rock is the most visceral mode, the engine is very ‘alive’. I love mine.

Absolutely, it’s got a lot of character and I can see why you’d love it. Honestly the biggest gripe I have is that there seems to be a bit of an identity crisis… it is big and heavy yet fast and quite agile thanks to such low center of gravity. However, I wouldn’t want to tour on it due to the lack of a windshield, while at the same time I’d prefer other types of bikes for more spirited riding. But hey, to each their own :)

Everyone please! There’s literally nothing wrong with the fucking 3rd gear!!! Can’t understand why yall so fucking obsessed with the god damn 3rd gear. This bike’s max rpm goes up to 14k-15k and he is not even using half of it. So everyone plz CALM THE FUCK DOWN jesus.

Thanks! I was so lost, too… to be honest coming from 2 years atop the R NineT that was most comfortable at 3k rpm it was quite strange to go up to 8k+ with no effort 😂

Hey dude, why are you not shifting the top gears stuck to 3rd gear on your all videos, Stressing the engine and burning lot of fuel. Be efficient enough. Use fuel responsibly, It's non renewable enegy, be responsible.....😀

This inline 4 revs to 14.6k rpm with peak power after 10k; I like staying in “lower gears” to have access to that top power on demand, and also because I love the sound of it. If fuel consumption was my concern I wouldn’t get a liter bike with 200hp 😂

It's not about saving fuel on these bikes either. There's no reason to be envious just because you don't have the money. You keep your old scooter and Nokia button phone and it will be all right too. No one is going to tell you what to buy. Envy is a bastard.

In third gear, that engine is under less stress than if it was being lugged in top gear. Lugging an engine puts more stress on the crankshaft and bearings than allowing to rev a little bit. In my own experience, an engine that is not under load, freely spinning, doesn’t burn as much fuel as one that is working to pull the higher gear. It is also very useful in lower gears to be able to control your speed with engine braking and have the ability to have acceleration available if it is needed without having to downshift a few times first (to get away from someone who is going to rear end you. We wouldn’t have six speed transmissions if the engine could do it all with one.

Just curious, please don't take this as a criticism, but why 3rd gear on the motorway? Isn't the bike a little buzzy at 130 kph in 3rd gear?

Hey! It is a bit buzzy in general (you can feel the vibrations through the foot pegs and handlebars a lot in any gear/rpm range), but truthfully I simply really like the sound 😊

I wanted to ask you a question: What is your feeling after riding for hours straight, isn't the sound of the bike bothering you at a certain point? Isn't it too loud at long rides and bothering? Hey, thanks for commenting! I have to say - it is definitely VERY loud. Despite being Euro 5 once you go above 4-5k rpm it sound like a ROCKET. Personally I enjoy it but I do have earplugs for those longer highway rides just in case (I use Alpine earplugs if you're interested and they work great). Another negative I can mention about it are the vibrations. You can feel them through the foot pegs and handlebars a lot, especially in the "fun" rpm range, but wearing protective gear does reduce them considerably. Stay tuned for more videos to come! As you can see I was still breaking it in, now its full power is unlocked and... oh boy. I'll post some more videos soon :)

Te felicito por tu motocicleta, toda una maquina. Cuídala mucho, por ello debes de cambiar de marcha a cierta velocidad. He sufrido mucho pues la moto te pedía un cambio. Esa motocicleta en las revoluciones apropiadas no se siente las vibraciones. Tengo la S 1000 RR que es el mismo motor
