Dressing with integrity is never boring. Only those who lack it would suggest otherwise.

The purpose of monogramming is of course identification. It helps the dry cleaner. Today it is somewhat of an affectation and anachronistic. But I like it because it’s old school when everyone laundered and there were vast numbers of shirts. Set yourself apart from others. That’s what style does.

Definitely for people who can not be thin due to medical reasons should follow these tips but people who can get in shape should do it cause high waisted pant without a jacket always looks awful on a thick men.

An unbuttoned double breasted jacket is truly atrocious you could’ve made a decent look but you made that bullshit and your pants fit so oddly your silhouette makes me wanna gag

Most shits now have tiny lapels, short short trousers, thin pocket flaps, the buttons on the sleeves are stitched down, just looks incredibly sloppy to me, doesn’t matter much you spend for this style of suit, it just looks bad

On the stomach is bizarre and the cuffs are a bit showy. Stick to the breast pocket and choose white or contrasting stitching depending on how visible you want it to be.

I recently purchased a suit from Suit Supply for my upcoming Wedding (not a tux) - Double Breasted style, just like yours! I'm 5'5 140 pounds, and was in between the Standard and Wide Peak Lapel. My initial thought was standard but the two experienced stylists there told me to go wide. Not gonna see the final product for 3 ish weeks, but hoping you could tell me your opinion as well! I believed and trusted their opinion, but I'm second guessing it a lot!

When I was in college, I had a mentor who was in his early fifties. Incidentally, the age I am now. He used to refer to his daily routine as his productive rut. Even at that age, I saw the wisdom in it and I have always maintained a productive rut of my own.

As you age, you also look better in classic style than you do trends. I'm 52 and I keep my wardrobe simple and, I guess, boring.

I see fat people often take the last tip too far in the tight direction. If I had to choose between the two, I think I'd err on the side of loose fit than a fit that's too tight.

Okay, so my question here is regarding Steve Harvey's video advice about owning i think it was 5 complete matching suits with 2 dress shirts that was white and cream color for each. What I don't understand is he is saying you could mixn'match all 5 suits and 4 dress shirts any way you want it and you cannot mess it up. I tried that before and i got negative comments back on the mismatch clothing. I don't remember what it was but it was too embrassing for me to not care for it. Nowadays i see blazers, sports coat, and suit jackets getting mismatched with all sorts of other clothing. To me, i am wondering how in the world are they managing that? Like it doesn't look professional enough. example just a business casual or a smart casual and it looks weird. As for the semi-formal mismatching that is where i am confused too. Is the advice that Steve Harvey gave regarding 5 suits and 4 different dress shirts making a combination of 75 total outfits, is that even viable? Like it isn't might even be the same brand, fabric and style but he is saying it all goes. I always though the principals of a complete suit MUST stay with its matching pants &/or vest. Could you assist on clarifying that or providing more details to it so it makes sense and allows me to feel confident in mix n' matching them? Thank you.
