I came to her because of Of Monsters and Men. An amazing band with an amazing lead singer. You have a beautiful voice, Nanna. Keep up these amazing songs.

It has been one year since How To Start A Garden came out! Thank you so very much, Nanna, for sharing your music with us all! Nanna, þakka þér fyrir þessi lög! (I've been learning Icelandic, I hope that was accurate spelling, grammar, and overall use of words) 🙂🎉❤️🎶🌱

I watched a documentary on Vikings, how they lived and traveled. How they lived in Iceland, Greenland and explored/discovered parts of North America. History reveals the best communicators were the poets, all from Iceland. They had the gift to paint beautiful images with their words. You are a poet, a Viking, you paint with your songs. Thank you for sharing your ancestry and your gift.

Look at this melody, the transition to the violin, the tone of Nanna's voice, I don't hear a song, I hear a work of art.

Drink some wine just a little Wine is not an entrance from grief You're sad -disappointed You haven't seen Happiness for a long time Maybe you were deceived , shrouded in lies Maybe you were forced to love You've been subtly confused They didn't even let you forget it all. That's what makes your song sad. That's what makes you sad. Your heart is like worn gloves You need a lot of silence. You can be cruelly abandoned by someone's hand Into this huge void Just don't drink too much wine. Wine is not the way to go Years will pass - and everything will pass Snowstorms will pass - the snows will melt , then spring will come From the fallen stones from your soul It will turn out to be a happy path And on this path of yours Happiness will find you
