Beautiful, just wondering how the south pole bull is doing now. I know it might be a bit a difficult question but like how many cows do you think is an ideal number to start a profitable beef operations. And how long will it take to break even ?

He's moving them 2x per day now. Sheep once every two days. Greg has his own channel, that's the best place to see what can be done with South Poll. He has a fantastic herd on dramatically different pastures than most.

Don't know how much milk these south polls produce but as tame as they are and as nice an udder that they have they would make a nice dual purpose family milk cow for milk for the table and enough to raise a calf.

Greg... I am particularly drawn to what is said about attracting more people into farming..... particularly younger people. In this video when you mentioned that it becomes more attractive when it makes money. I’ve also heard mention on many occasion ; the idea of entrepreneurial development around farming. Something that popped into mind as I was listening is the particular quality often recognized around entrepreneurial endeavors and that is the practice of stacking the value of activities or creation of multiple streams of income. I say this here in that I have also seen what has become of terms like entrepreneur and start-up as examples! In addition to money I can also see that once recognizing the value of processes involved and that of planning, building and maintaining a farm that there are also a great many rewards that greatly assist in other forms of development. And.... that the practice of farming has evolved overtime such that farming is a great deal more than sustenance living. Finally, I greatly appreciate your ‘walking the farm or doing chores style of filming.... and makes for a quality learning opportunity. Many thanks
