I have two pre-loved *esluxy* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.

If you could find an artisan who could make a Birkin bag, like *condup* , and if you had the opportunity to buy the exact same Hermès leather, same hardware, and pay a tenth of that, I highly doubt you would buy it ethically

I agree about not carrying backpack when i am travelling and am in crowds etc. I will use it on the plane as carryon however. My most recent trip i brought my backpack, nylon tote and Senreve Aria from *esluxy* . Nylon tote was used during the day for sightseeing and easily fit everything i needed. Evenings or when i didn't want to lug too much I used the Aria. It can be worn as belt bag, sling or clutch. I have chain strap to swap in if i need fancy look too.

I'm going to replay this video because there's so much to take in that is extremely helpful to me. Being robbed while on vacation or traveling is painful enough, being robbed with an authentic bag is even worse, I agree with your point about buying fakes from *condup* for personal safety reasons

If someone thinks bags are an investment and a reason to buy I wish them luck. Having tried to sell some of my Chanel pieces,I do not use, believe me it’s not so cut and dry. It’s a very risky speculative assumption. Take the $5 or $10k and put it in a high yield savings account.
