How do you determine how much money to take with you to last for the entire race?

We actually start with no money. All money, credit cards, phones are confiscated before the race starts. At the start of each leg, we are given money, either in USD or local currency. That pays for everything except airline travel. All taxis, admission fees, food (if we choose to buy) are paid from the leg money.

You two were one of my favorite teams this season. You had great communication and should have made it further! I found it interesting that three of the legs featured markets of various kinds - all different tasks though.

Market challenges are quite common tasks. You saw it on 34 as food delivery. But in the grocery business we’ve seen it all!

Love the recap !! But I have a question ? At 15:51 you mention that you actually got on a different bus than Morgan and Lena ? That they left a few minutes before you, but then ultimately you arrived before them ? But the editing made it seem like all of the Flight 2 teams were on the same bus (You guys, Rob/Corey, Morgan/Lena, and Greg/John). The on screen text even said all four of you were on bus number 3 together (after Joe/Ian on Bus 1 and Joel and Garrett on Bus 2). So just kind of confused on that ?? Unless I misunderstood you guys

There were 2 buses that left about a minute apart. We seemed to have had a crazy race car driver and we and Rob and Corey got there maybe 20 minutes ahead of the other bus.
