Imagine being that good looking, charismatic and intelligent AND known world-over for being the most iconic Superman ever. He was adored. RIP! I wonder if this interview was scripted. He is so well-spoken it's ridiculous.

You are a master interviewer, did not focus on gossipy personal matters and came very well prepared. Woody was so at ease with you and he seemed to be actually enjoying it, especially the second half of the interview. A real pro.

16:05 "A good actor is never out of work". I agree, if someone was "Typed Casted", it is because they did know how to act. Buddy Epson, did will have playing Jed and Loren Green did will after playing Ben.

Thank you. I've made the correction in the text below Leo's interview. Unfortunately, at this point, I can't make the correction in the audio voice-over.

LEO WAS A FANTASTIC ACTOR, I LOVED HIM IN 'RUMPOLE', AND DESPITE HAVING ALL THE EPISODES ON DVD. I STILL WATCH ALL THE EPEATS ON TV. I HAVE TO SAY, THAT I DO NOT RECOGNISE HIS VOICE HERE, EVEN ALLOWING FOR THE POOR PHONE QUALITY. HE WAS A GREAT LOSS TO THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY R.I.P LEO.
@johnhanrahansmoviestarintervie26 күн бұрын
I think, as Leo was doing an interview with an Aussie, for the Australian media, he probably dropped his acquired English "pluminess" for our chat.

Best part of the interview: he is over the top effusive about Matthew Broderick and Michelle Pfeiffer. And then when he's pressed about Rutger Hauer, he says " The Dutch actor? Oh, uh, he was fine." lol.

Very beautiful British actress who I thought should have gone bigger than she was, I thought back then she would in her career be as popular and prolific as say Helena Bonham Carter.

Yes, true. But she did turn up every now and then. She was in at least one Miss Marple episode I know of, A Murder Is Announced. I keep an eye open for her.

That was such a good movie...I've seen it four or five times. Every time TCM or Turner Classic Movies shows it here on basic cable, I have to watch it again...one of my all time favorites: love Vangelis, btw.

A wonderful film! Later, Cherie Lunghi and Nigel Terry were in a rather silly but fun TV series, Covington Cross, where he was a mediaeval gentleman and she was the widowed lady in the next castle - they were lovers.

Parker's a fucking genius: the way he downplays the 'saturation' aesthetic - which they went on to be 'cloned' in mainstream movies, for the next 30 odd years. The only Hollywood player that could honour such intelligent material, these days, would be QT.

Wow, this is absolute gold! I love John Carpenter films and appreciate how candid this interview is. John has always been so real and he seemed very comfortable talking with you. You asked very good questions and established a great rapport. Just discovered your channel and I’m so happy I did. New subscriber here. And I look forward to discovering all your other interviews. As a huge film fan, thank you so much sir for all the interviews you have done. I can tell just by this interview that you were very good at your job. A true professional. Cheers! 👍🏻😀

In this day and age transgender people are pretty prevalent. What’s to say she couldn’t be a real transgender person in the film? I live in Taiwan now and there are a lot of people walking around that I’m not sure what sex they are. Transgenderisim is real. It would have added an interesting twist if they had of been ahead of the curve or times.
