Sync reset worked in ours ( power button and fast forward arrows hold down until it resets ).

I fixed one. Thanks! In my case a rusted connection with the as battery was broken, so some soldering did the trick.

I tried this and while it temporarily fixed the Bluetooth issue, the problem resurfaced later the same day. I’ve repeated this procedure and works short term but not a permanent fix. I may have a bad Bluetooth module. Not sure.

Literally tried EVERYTHING including calling the 800 number for sync.... and this video fixed the issue in 2 mins.... awesome. Thanks bud!

True Story, fuse 32 only worked with a full Sony/Sync~2? 2015 platinum. It was the Strangest thing prior; new phone connected for calls but not for audio(prior new phone worked for an hour for audio then stopped), pull fuse 32 ~Sync only. If full Sony/Sync2 it does a hard restart with long SYNC start screen and then phone fully connects immediately radio memory, and everything still good didn't even need to re-add phone in bluetooth connection screen. Tried everything else(pairs, removes, re-pairs, fully delete all bluetooth pairings/connections) for hours prior. Good Video.

good job on the review....I was considering the harbor Freight fortress but they have restocking fee if you want to return it. so I opted for the Lowes cobalt quiet tech 26 gal and to my surprise the unit was completely assembled wow that was awesome. I think the harbor freight unit has some assembly.

I have my phone connected but every time I cut the truck off and start it back up I have to set it again,why should I have to do it every time

I have a 2016 F150 Platimium some times when i start my car my radio will not find the Sync and will go over to AM station and not find my phone, Would i need to do this or just do a sync Reset?

If you hold the radio power button and >> seek fwd button for 2-3sec will initiate a manual sync reset. Reboot takes 2-3mins. Fixed mine

After disassembly, I discovered all of the electrical was working as it should. Then I turned the shaft that feeds the fertilizer into the feed hole by hand and it was frozen. Probably from corrosion buildup after setting all winter. Using several drop of household multipurpose oil on the shaft, it broke free and turns with ease. A sealed bearing should be used rather than a bushing. Reassembled and applied fertilizer to my yard. The parts used in the manufacturing process of this devise are CHEAP. If it had a brushless motor, sealed ball bearings, higher quality trigger switch, it would never wear out.

You are lucky.. They problem with mine is the trigger switch is not making contact and I can't figure out how to get that part of the spreader apart to access the switch.
