У моего гравермакса воздух даже если не нажимать педаль, всё равно продолжает выходить из рукоятки штихеля. Инструменту 10 лет. Гарантия уже просрочена. Может быть надо что-то заменить или отрегулировать ?

I have this exact model. Is the air intake filter suppose to be saturated in oil? Also, is the compressor motor suppose to be hot?

I just performed this maintenance after the rotary valve starting to stick and refuse to rotate on occasion, and that fixed it, thank you! I was wondering if it would it be a good idea to apply a small amount of lube on the shaft before putting it back together?

I bought the vertical holder, the screw on top came insanely tight and stuck, is there a trick to taking this apart or unscrewing it? Please help

When you tried to unscrew it, were you holding the ring holder by hand, or did you have it in the BenchMate?

@grstools I tried both ways. It arrived so tight, my concern is stripping it & it being unusable.

The GraverMax® G8 has stroke speed ranges from 400-8000 strokes per minute. The normal operating range of the QC 720 is 400-3000 strokes per minute.

Have you checked the internal hoses of the GraverSmith? If they fill with oil from the compressor, that can affect the performance of your machine.

Video suggestion: Unboxing and set up of the gravestone complete system including the apex sharpening system. Better focus and zoom on what you are doing with the piece in your hands. Thanks for all your videos, they are a great help and very appreciated.

Really helpful video. You mentioned getting an inline filter to trap water. I would like to do this even though it’s probably not necessary just to be extra safe. There are two inline filters listed for sale on the GRS site, the Coalescing Air Filter & Oil-Remover Kit. One is metric and the other one is imperial. I’m assuming that the imperial kit is the one you want for the California Air Compressor because it’s all a 1/4” hose, right?

You are correct - the imperial coalescing filter (#004-730) has 1/4" fittings. The EU version has 6mm fittings.

What's the difference between QC and QCX?
