Awesome explanation! Clear and to the point. Is there a file or specific sharpener you would recommend? I've used the ones by Stihl on gas powered saw blades that simultaneously sharpen the teeth and flatten the depth gauge in one motion. I just bought the DeWalt pole saw and haven't researched this for this saw. Thank you sir!

Sorry I stopped using devices to sharpen dull chain saw blades. Instead I make chain saw blades last longer by 1.) never dulling them on dirt, rock, etc.; 2.) minimize number of limbs i cut; 3.) minimize cuts I perform on any single limb; 4.) Gang up multiple jobs into one session with the chain saw. I did everything wrong when I was new to chain saws. Now my time spent, in one session of chain sawing, is 40% cutting limbs and 60% maintenance (set-up chainsaw and job(s); stopping to clean, adjust, and tighten chainsaw; after job clean-up the chainsaw).

It's built on many small rolling hills. Township does not sell plots which keeps its character. I'm not an expert but it's the most unusual cemetery I've ever seen.

Good small town grocery store. They're a little more expensive then wal mart but much easier to get in and out of quick. Very good pizza too at hungry howies

I just walked this today to look at the native Fall flowers and grasses. It was beautiful. Perfect time of year. The management of this area has been crazy good. I want to walk it when everything is frozen this winter.

Friendly helpful hardware store. Its a pleasure to shop here. I wish the same could be said about living in this town. The police make our lives miserable. one of them wanders in our back yards looking for any excuse to write tickets

What direction should the chain go in?
@aroundvanburen9 ай бұрын
When the chain turns, the sharp cutting tip is facing forward. Wipe your finger across the length of the chain and you feel all the sharp cutting tips. In the video I perform this action several times, like at 1:40. It becomes a habit.

I’m with "Gene The Pumpkin Man" 22637 M 43 just a little west of VanKal Street. Lots of 🎃 and big pumpkins too. Pricing by size (not weight). Squash, gourds, pumpkin butter, honey too! Gene expects he'll have 200 big pumpkins for sale. Gene's farm was bought by his grandfather in 1885 who raised wheat, hay, corn, vine crops and farm animals. Gene's dad took over in 1925 and lived there his entire life, farming and working at the Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery and Visitor Center until he passed in 1977. Gene's been there his entire life. They planted a few pumpkins and winter squash in 1957 and it just kept increasing. "We plant the seeds -- God gives the increase." In the Squash Barn. Great winter squash selection! Most are $1.50 each so I buy several of them and put them in the basement to use over the winter. Thanks Gene for a great visit!
