Unfortunately can’t find the Morimoto first generation tail lights anywhere anymore because the new ones look very aftermarket. The eagle eyes look more stock so will have to go for those

Is it difficult to load and unload gear near the bulkhead? My truck is slightly factory lifted and I’m not a tall dude. My concern is getting stuff into and out of the the front of the truck bed. I know the sections are gas sprung, but I can’t each the inside from the side of my truck very well.

After installing these using red loctite I heard that the slots that these go into are used if the car ever has to be towed. Am I screwed now?

I bought a C6 last December and it had front side markers from Vette lights but was missing that LS112 piece, within a couple minutes you described exactly what I needed to fix my issue, thank you!!

I installed this connection last week using your equipment recommendations. Went easily in about an hour as I was installing a new battery in my 2011 Z06. I love the easy charging connection. I have a "sticky note" on the drivers window to remind me to disconnect before leaving the garage. Thanks for the video!

Glad it helped. I have backed out of my garage a few times after forgetting about it. You hear a bit of a "clunk" when it disconnects and then you realize what happened. :)

The one above my workbench? It is by a company called Hyperikon...but unfortunately, they have been out of business for a while. Yet, the one you see in the video has been running 24 hours a day for YEARS. Maybe this will help to get you started on finding something like it... amzn.to/4e6Oo8S

The cleats are so useful. I use them to ratchet strap stuff down all the time.

I was able to remove the battery then take a Dremel and clean the contact and the back of the battery where the contact is made (i noticed some corrosion on the contact and the battery). watched the video on how to disassemble and 5 min later it was working like new w/no new battery required. Ty!!

Got the "Apex" version of the v8 which has a bit more power.. seems to be pretty good! Liked it so much I also ordered the V7 Pocket and that thing is sweet too!

PMSL... What an EPIC fail. 😂😂 21min to 'almost' inflate 1 tire, but manufacturer recommends not to use for more than 7-10min at a time. Ok, 30min to cool down every 7mins, that's almost an hour to inflate 1 tire!? But hang on, the battery died before it was finished... Sorry, I can't stop laughing. 😂

Simpler? I don't know how it would, but I would say that yes, dielectric grease is not mentioned enough...and would be good to use here. In fact, I am going to add some to my connection (I am still using the very same one in this video.)

@@InJasonsGarage Yes, I should have said " make it "easier" to connect the external connection". Several years ago the Corvette Museum was offering a charger connection like you showed here. I like your solution, it works and ends up in the same place the museum model did. And your "how to video" was very educational and helpful. And yes, like you, I tire of opening the hatch to unhook the cables each time I want to drive.

WD40 is basically crap. It´s a cleaner and it´s good to remove rusty bolts that´s basically it. It´s not a lubricant. I didn´t know that German product is known in the US, interestng. You can also use silicone spray instead if you happen to have some.

Hey, I noticed that you didn’t include the DDM Tuning Saber Prox in your spreadsheet on your other channel…. Have you considered adding these and their new Saber Prox 65w version? From my research they are basically the same light/chip as the GTR Ultra 2, which imo have the best overall beam pattern to light output so I’m curious how their new 65w version would compare. I've never seriously thought about LED lights everywhere on my '06 Vette. I'm the original owner of her, she's going on eighteen-years-old and in terms of handling and performance my wife still tells me to slow down! She got a beautiful Mother's Day gift, so she agreed I can install the remaining LED lights that remain. And I'm pretty excitement about seeing what they look like!
