Thank you very much i did all repairs and refinishing my self. Its a shame for the chunk out of the record it sounds very crisp and clean sounding. That is the first record im recording from 113 record trash bin find that friends of mine and my wife had given me. Very many nice records. Thanks for commenting. How beautiful is that! I’m absolutely taken by everything about this. The music, the vocals, the composition, the sound, the near-flawless media. I could listen to 78s on this all day and all night. Just gorgeous.

Thank you for commenting. This 1919 record my friend gave me with a bunch of other records all pulled out of a trash bin. He keep finding them and i keep saving and recording them to this KZfaq channel. I just started recording the other records from the 113 record find. Hope you subscribe and enjoy them all.

@@tonys78rpmrecordsthe acoustics definitely do a little damage, but it’s only noticeable on new discs. I’m not sure how those metrolite discs hold up to repeated steel needle treatment but I might have to sacrifice a disc in the name of science one time and record the results. The uk/european and Aussie discs were made of harder materials, and some of his earlier us pressings weren’t pressed on such malleable materials

@@bigcheeses its all good. Maybe when there are a shortage of these 78's maybe they will go up in value i get them for 5 dollars for 25 when i buy them. A friend just gave me 113 old records that he got from a flemarket trash bin. One guy committed how good the record sounds compared to digital. Thanks for commenting and for enjoying some of my old record music.

@@tonys78rpmrecordsthere’s definitely some rarer than others. That looks like a particularly shiny copy. I have 2 or 3 of each Hank single in 78 and 45! I’m a big fan though!

@@tonys78rpmrecordsit definitely sounds better to my ear than digital, the noise helps I think. I love the sound of my HMV 163 as well and hope to record some more Hank on there soon too. Thanks for sharing!

Just the way i received it. Cracked and chipped and broken records sometimes there. Most of these records were removed from trash bin and rescued from the dump. One day they may be more valuable.

My grandmother named my mum sue, I think because of the popularity of this song. She took my mum's hair from her first haircut and made a sewing pouch in the shape of sunbonnet sue with my mum's baby hair poking out. They're both dead now and it's been lovely to research the object and discover so much history about the phenonema
