Just a quick pointer, from an Aussie. Your holding the camera too steady. The average Australian has chronic alcoholism, so the severe delirium tremens renders a steady hand impossible.

I am very interested in this but I am an absolute Rookie! My master plan is to do Home Screenings and help spread awareness about what people are filling their houses with and the dangers, ect. Any tips on a place to help me start learning?
@jacobvarley5453 Жыл бұрын
what exactly is it you're trying to do? There's EMF everywhere, doesn't matter where on this planet you are, you will detect EMF. People aren't filling their homes with dangerous RF if that's what you're implying. There are wifi routers everywhere so 2.4ghz is going to propagate to them no matter what. RF isn't this dangerous ghost that exist, and if you're talking about when people DO get hurt by it, it's very important to look at those specific circumstances. If you're climbing a tower then yes, you need protection. TV transmitters operate at a max of 50kw in the daytime and less at night, since RF moves better in cold weather. When those tower are climbed, the power output is lowered to lessen the possible affects of EMF to the technician. The actual frequency is very important as well - Think back to high school physics when they discussed resonant frequencies. You can literally vibrate something to pieces if you get the right frequency, but also remember frequency means just that, how frequent it happens. So a 2.4ghz wave will oscillate (go up and down) 2,400,000,000 times a SECOND. But since that's EMF/RF, it doesn't hurt us nor can it vibrate something apart. If we were to look at the same frequency resonating at an analog level, like a speaker or other sound wave, then that would be different. Now 2.4billion cycles of sound is incredibly power hungry since you're physically making a wave move, so let's look at something more relatable, like, 80hz - 80 cycles, or ups and downs, a second. 80hz is subwoofer territory and we all know that if there's a jeep a mile away blasting Snoop, you're not only going to hear it, but you'll feel it. This is because it's closer to our body's actual resonant frequency (it's 23.5hz give or take), so we're feeling our organs move back and forth and its not a nice feeling. The more power the sub puts out, the more we feel it. So power in this case is amplitude, the SIZE of the wave - the larger the wave, the more amplitude, the more power (watts) needed. So as frequencies go higher and higher, their waves get smaller and smaller at the same power, requiring more power to make the wave larger and larger. So all that just to come back around to RF/EMF because it's easier to explain using sound waves. If you're in your house and hear something outside, that means that those waves are making their way inside, and this is no different than RF. There are materials that absorb frequencies better than others, but at a consumer level, you'll never stop it. So if we can't stop RF from getting in, what can we do? Not worry about it. There's no RF that will hurt you as a consumer in your home - baring an attack, living in front of a TV transmitters, etc, which are all not zoned for housing here in the U.S. Turning on your stove will generate RF since the igniter creates a spark and that spark very quickly occupies A LOT of RF spectrum (broad spectrum) so it'll pop up on a meter if you turn it on. Static shocks are broad spectrum, your phone emits rf in the cellular, NFC, and Bluetooth spectrum, tiny parts inside that have coils induced through A/C will "wine" and also emit rf. plugs and switches can emit RF and if they do, they need to be re terminated because it means there's a gap creating an arc, which will create a carbon deposit, which will create resistance, which will create heat, which could cause a fire. Your computer, dear god, your computer sprays RF like a mofo but at a VERY VERY VERY tiny amplitude. Any motor, so fans, refrigerators, pumps, air conditioning, heating, etc, all create RF. Ive been working around all of these things since I was 11. My mom worked at a communication dealer and i used to go to the towers with them, fix radios, use a shit ton of computer and electronics, and i have no ill side affects at 39 (4/3/23). I understand your desire to live a clean life, but RF is not the enemy as long as you're not microwaving yourself. I hope this helped.
