Fox hunting is banned anyway. But that was a major mistake, because foxes are pests and have to be controlled. Not exterminated, just controlled. Hunting with hounds is the only way of controlling them that selectively culls foxes based on fitness; the healthiest foxes generally escape and survive, going on to breed and pass on their genes, whilst the weaker animals are culled. It's called survival of the fittest. Other methods, such as shooting, poisoning and trapping kill foxes totally indiscriminately, removing fit and healthy animals from the gene pool and contributing to their decline. Actually rural foxes here in the UK have declined dramatically since the hunting ban, because they're now being shot indiscriminately at night rather than selectively hunted by hounds. It's all very well saying it's cruel and all hunters are evil, but how do you propose controlling foxes? Why did the Burns Inquiry, commissioned by the Labour government before the ban, not find any evidence of cruelty? Surely if hunting were as cruel as you claim there would have been plenty of evidence to back this up, in the report. ;-)

We saw them live. Amazing musicianship and vocals. If you close your eyes you can hardly tell the difference between these guys and the real thing with Freddie. Highly recommend.

Why the health care is deteriorating in Scotland? Because each time a carer do a mistake, their bosses treat it like a crime. Sssc & solicitors gets involved and the whole future of the carer becomes at risk of damage if proven guilty. Because they focus more on punishing the carers rather than helping them not to make the error again. I know someone who made a mistake in 2019, and until now she is facing courts and so much hassle. She made a naieve mistake forcing a service user to shower when she was covered in shit. They treated that as abuse. Imagine, instead of thanking her, they put her into all this hassle.
