Lololol you’re definitely not short 😂 you can or near flat foot one foot to the ground. We can clearly see how tall you are 😂 Most of us tippy toe on one foot by scooting half our butt off the seat just to touch one side on the ground.

is Honda future any good? nice review by the way
@Tigitmotorbikes
@Tigitmotorbikes 7 күн бұрын
On paper it is a great bike, but unfortunately I haven't ever driven one new. What I can say is that it doesn't appear to age well. Every 2nd hand Honda Future I have driven appears to be smashed to pieces and for some reason lost all the power. It is also a confusing model, because like the Wave, there are many sub models. For example Wave alpha, Wave RSX, Blade etc etc The Future has it's own list (which I don't know what they are), and so not all Futures are the same. Even the physical frame can be different from what I know, depending on the sub model. Finally, Tigit did actually own and buy 1 Honda Future in Hanoi. I never drove it. I was also against the purchase of a Future because 125cc of power on small wheels with disk brakes is a recipe for crashes. That was my prediction. Eitherway, I was ignored and the company bought one as an experiment. The bike was crashed 3 rentals out of 3 rentals, and I then forced the bike to be sold. My predictions were correct :) We run drum brakes on all our semi automatics. Tourists can't handle disk brakes on scooters, let alone disk brakes on a 125cc performance scooter. As I say, on paper, the Honda Future is a powerful / highish performance machine. It isn't a casual bike really. I would imagine if you are an experienced rider wanting a city bike that can also be driven long distance. This is probably one of the best bikes on the market. Just buy it new!

@@Tigitmotorbikes thanks for the detailed response, I binge watch your motorcycle reviews since me and my wife is planning to tour around Vietnam. Recently we drove to areas like Dak lak and Da Lat and we only used Honda Vision and I felt like it is really lacking power that is why I am looking for a new bike. Please keep doing more informative videos, I'll binge your suggested routes next.

I think this is actually a really good system. As an avid solo bike rider in a certain island nation in SEA, I love my freedom and I wouldn't want to be locked down to an inflexible and pre-determined route. Having a local guide that knows the area and can provide insight while also having the total freedom to choose where to go seems like a nice balance between convenience and experience. Would check out your place if I ever go to Vietnam.

@Tigitmotorbikes
@Tigitmotorbikes 13 күн бұрын
Different bikes really, can't compare. If you are a user who wants to do light offroading for camping reasons, but don't care about getting better at riding or skills. Then the PG-1 If you are a user who is testing the idea of offroad, and want to improve skills on a motorbike, then the XR 150 is best. For the city, there are people who love the XR 150 for city riding. For me personally, I much prefer automatics or semi-automatics for traffic. Therefore the Yamaha PG -1 is best.

Blimey, the tyres don't last long. The Wave 110i is the off-road bike in Thailand amongst farmers, too. You are right: any bike can go off road. Excellent review of a bike which has caught my attention. Heavier than this but much more powerful is this new offering from China. Leten LT190 Adventure Cub. 188cc mated to a CVT box, liquid cooling and stunning styling. There's a couple of video on KZfaq. One is a computerised spec read-out, the other a Chinese video demonstrating its prowess off road. Nick

PG-1 Yamaha, good or bad, or too new to know? It looks like it could be a very good bike for Vietnam. Semi-auto with a setup for mild off road and not very expensive. I think about 30.4 million or about $1200 new.
@Tigitmotorbikes
@Tigitmotorbikes 24 күн бұрын
Not had a chance to drive it yet. But the main draw to the bike is the price point. A scooter with "offroad" is pure nonsense though, same as a Honda ADV. It is just a name to appeal to an uneducated market. Nice for instagram pics etc. However, as a fun and cheap scooter, it is probably very good I would imagine! Nice to see something that looks a bit different as well.
@ashu9493
@ashu9493 23 күн бұрын
@@Tigitmotorbikes I agree that it is nice to see something that looks a bit different from the usual plastic scooter. The Honda ADV is just another plastic scooter with an auto and a bit more HP. At least the PG-1 has the scrambler style and some bigger knobby tires and a bit more fuel capacity. It looks to me like it might be slightly more suitable for going down a trail than a Wave/Blade but certainly not in the same league as the XLR150 Honda. For traveling the Vietnam countryside it looks like it might be a nice ride, but is the Yamaha drivetrain close to as reliable as the Wave/Blade? Is the drivetrain the same as another Yamaha that has a known track record to enable a reasonable prediction? Is it a bike that you might consider to expand your offerings for your customers or too much headache to support another type of bike? The bike it looks comparable to is the Honda CT125 Trail. In the US the CT125 goes for about $4K. I'm sure the Honda is better but by how much?
