I envy you for your closeness to your mom. I wish I'd had that with my parents, and hope I've done better with my son. Thank you.

oh, this is so touching and heartfelt. i'd intended to watch this for a bit of white noise, but by the end it had swallowed by attention whole. each sentence just seamlessly builds upon the last; the pacing holds your hand throughout. and that finale! gosh. it's so lovely

I’ve read your remarkable book. I had to track you down to hear your story out loud. You got your answer. If you ask and listen, you always will. That was a gift. Write more books!

OH my flippin' GOD I'm an absolute puddle!!!!! One of the best things about this hilarious, heartful story is that Clara and Charlie will get to have it for themselves their whole lives, to hear, anytime they want, about the very first moment they met. <3 What a gift.

Sorry you find Jewish holidays unhappy. Have you thought of going to a Jewish Community Center during a Jewish holiday? Have you ever attended a Sabbath meal? I am glad you choose to raise your children as Jews. Mazel tov.
