Newer nissans SUCK!!! At least the altimas With the weak trannies My daughter has a 2016 100,000 miles and it just got the P0841 code. Her car started shifting abnormal periodically then after the check engine light came up due to the code, Nissan needs to get their act together they're gonna start loosing alot of customers. A few people i know with altimas have had issues with the transmission. No good!!

Any nissan with a cvt transmission will have problems. Yet, nissan keeps putting this transmission in their vehicles.

@@thisisyourtransmission I'm wondering if owners who have been consistent with the transmission maintenance (filters replaced also) experienced this as well cause if not then it may be that these transmissions are very sensitive if the maintenance is not done regularly, they say being low on transmission oil or a defective oil pressure switch can cause this as well.

If it is the 6L80/90 transmission, usually the torque converter is becoming destroyed, and will take out the transmission.

I have a 2012 vw routan. I recently had issues with my alternator. It went out and had to be replaced. As it began to fail the 4th gear began to delay before shifting. After the alternator was replaced the 4th gear continues to have a slight delay. Could that be due to the alternator failing? And if so, do you think having the transmission reprogrammed would solve the issue? Thanks in advance.
@thisisyourtransmission19 күн бұрын
If 4th gear is not right, transmission has a problem. This transmission does not need programming. If the transmission has codes, the codes need to be checked out first.
@ShooterReview19 күн бұрын
@@thisisyourtransmission there are no codes. Thanks again for the reply. I was hoping it had something to do with the failed alternator but such is life🤝

Folks keep saying to lock it, but thats not the F* point! I think this is BRILLIANT. My garage has a slight slope and the drawers on my YUKON box continuously open without even moving the damn thing. In fact, once ALL the drawers opened and it tipped over due to the weight force. I get a tool I lock it, I put the tool back I lock it. SO ANNOYING. Im supposed to lock it only to secure it while I'm away. I will definatley be doing this so I can keep my keys on the key ring instead of my tool box. Thank you sir, very helpful - thankn you for sharing!

You don’t check the fluid there. There’s a 14mm bolt you take out while it’s running, that’s the overflow. Put it back in when it has slowed to a trickle. There’s a 19mm drain bolt on the trans pan.
