I know this video is 3 years old, but I really appreciated the demo and good explanation. I am in my 40s and grew out a beard for the first time. I had a barber shape my neckline, but with everything being so expensive, I needed to be able to trim at home. This video helped make that happen, and the end result looks great. I'm going for more of a "this is Sparta!" than "it's over Anakin, I have the high ground." :)

It can be really hard growing a beard without support. My wife absolutely does not like beards (at least not on me) and my kids (aged 9 and 7) don't seem to like it either, not liking me kissing them. In fact my wife didn't want me to kiss her the other day because of it. Which kind of got me down. But I really know that if I give the beard time it will look great on me, am just giving it time for the patches to fill in. But in all seriousness, when everyone is against it, it can be quite an emotional experience. Especially when you feel inside it is what you want but everyone else does not.

I've never gone 5 days or more without washing my hair in my entire life! I don't think I've gone more than three days. Maybe that's why I'm almost bald and Gregg has the head of hair he has. I wash my head hair and beard hair daily. On occasion, if I'm sick, I may skip a day. I just don't feel clean unless I wash everything every day. I want to try Bold Fortune. It sounds like a great scent.

I bought the sample pack just to see which scent I like best, then I'll buy that scent in a wash, oil, and balm. I like the idea of having a larger size and "utility" that does everything. Hopefully I really like one of the scents. i may even pick up the new collab scent you came out with in a utility oil because it sounds right up my alley and it's not offered in a sample.

I’m “irregular/combo” shape. If my cheeks were more prominent I’d be a diamond but Im probably closer to oblong. Recommendations for both diamond and oblong are very similar and I agree with those. My presentation is too elongated if I go long. Although high or low cheeks both look good. Wide at bottom is better and I’m careful not to cut/trim too much neck hair

They should be asking college girls. So many times, they'll go ask menopausal women their opinion, as if it matters. That's like asking short, poor men what they think is attractive and having women care.

Thank you very much for the great video! I'm 49 and grew my first beard starting with the new year. I've had a mustache since I could grow one but never a beard. Turns out it's a good look for me. My wife loves it. People keep saying I look intelligent now, like a a professor. Guess I needed the boost! 😜 Your videos have been instrumental in helping me figure it out! I appreciate the help more than you'll ever know!

Yeah, I've had a very short "business beard" for decades. Grew it out five years ago.(I'm 63 now) I really love the look. Grew out my hair(head) too. I like the Viking vibe.

Key to growing your hair long. DONT TRIM IT. Your losing time and progress by getting trims. Its a myth. Unless you have split ends you have no reason to trim. Wash your hair less. I wash mine once every two weeks. Sounds nasty but my hair and head are clean with the natural oils and my hair is thick and smooth
