@@danielmerrin9699 TBF Broxtowe are a little light for buggy info, seems they do more on road racing than buggies these days. It will be the same as my vid when they run buggies 1/10 with 2s lipo are general rules. Best to go down and have a look and chat when they are running a race session.

No inserts needed. Some fast guys have glued the outer side wall. I didn’t but may try it

It’s been a great way back into racing. We’ve stepped up a little since this video, my son now has an XB2 23 which is really good.

Super glad this is useful. We now have an XB2 19 and a XB2 21. Both are solid cars and a great platform, awesome at that price if well maintained.

It’s a Bosch Cordless Screwdriver IXO (5th gen). I have Hudy hex drivers for it. TBH if I bought another I’d go with one with a clutch as this one can be a bit aggressive just when you don’t want it to be! The light on it rocks

@@chowettgoes Ya. I just started racing (after a 30 year hiatus) in the last month or so and am following Paul Fulton since he started racing a few months back. Because of watching him I purchased a GoPro and a headgear to wear so I could record it. I've only done one vid, and have another one I'm putting up shortly. I'm pretty bad at the moment, both at racing and at recording LOL. I guess I'll get up to yours and his skills at recording eventually, and my sons and my skills are improving fairly quickly to catch up to Paul's. Love to see something from you from your phone ... have you tried putting it in your pocket facing out and see what that does? LOL might be a weird perspective, but just a thought you may think about.

@@fhuzpatch I was where you a couple of years back. Big break and then seriously back to fun racing. Have to say it’s even more addictive as I’m older 😅. I like the camera in pocket idea. What I’ve found is the best perspective is from your head so you follow your car round, I’ve just not taken the plunge with headband etc. Or of course footage from the sideline with someone following your car. Good luck racing and I look forward to watching your progress. I like watching others learn, I think it helps 👍

@@chowettgoes Yes, this is old footage I'm commenting on. Trying to hint for you to put some new stuff up ;) even if it's from your shirt pocket or something. GoPro needs a few additional bits and pieces to be usable, and can be expensive (rather you spend money keeping your son and yourself running first, but if you can spare it ;)) I got the Hero 10 ($550 cdn), and an extra bits and pieces packet ($65 cdn) but also needed spare batteries ($60 cdn) as they really only last for 15 to 30 min, so won't last the whole day. Thanks for sharing regardless :)
