please tell the names of the musicians! Joan Chamorro did that in his channel and it was great

Well, Chamorro had found a high-note trumpeter! Who? The baritone leading the sax section instead of the alto is an Alba inheritance. Nice!
@robertopimentel292015 күн бұрын
Lola! What an impressive evolution! Great alto! and so, her brother and Pau! A bunch of great soloists! The SAJB band over the years had more great soloists and all-around musicians than any other.

Great orchestration! Sounds so familiar like Basie or Ellington! ❤️🙏🏼❤️

It would be grand to know the soloists' names since this is a new crop of SAJB musicians as well as the other band members.

Marvelous, truly great. As a side note, it would be good if we had the names of the artists.

One more time!!! I heard this arrangement about 50 or 60 years ago, and it was popular in the USA then, and it still sounds great from the SAJB today.

Count Bassie had this tune on on an album in 1955,in fact, his version was th biggest seller of April in Paris.

Wonderful to see Elsa playing with such skill, musicality and confidence 13 years after she charmed us at 6 years old, dwarfed by Jesse Davis & Wycliffe Gordon!

If you can play your instrument with reasonable proficiency, almost all the instruments in a big band like this can be replaced with others of the same ability. So the true musicians for this are the tune composer and more importantly, the arranger. And yet they get the least acknowledgement.

Looks like a small fortune has been spent on microphones for this gig but the result is clear crisp recorded audio with a hint of reverb in the mix ... 100% professional, just like the SAJB! R (Australia)
